there are several ways to do it and it mostly depends on the hosting provider. But the most common is this way: https://tecadmin.net/enable-php-errors/

Also, please make sure you’re running the latest version of the plugin, 2.7.3.

that is an issue in bbPress I’d wager. Try asking them about how to include shortcodes. I, unfortunately, know next to nothing about bbPress.

I’m not really familiar with custom fields (just skimmed their docs), so I may be talking nonsense.

I see 3 ways to do something like that – Include a block like you did, include a shortcode, or call the PHP functions directly (see https://github.com/skaut/skaut-google-drive-gallery/blob/2.7.1/plugin/frontend/shortcode.php). Either way, you need to involve the PHP code in some way.

From what I read in the docs, custom fields aren’t really meant for this, right? (not saying you can’t use them, but you’d probably be scratching your left ear with your right hand…)

I’m afraid I can’t help any further as I don’t really understand this functionality of WP…

Hi, windmillller had the problem of lacking the header and footer because he was modifying the PHP code manually. If that’s not the case, please do give sonme details of your issue, ideally with a link (here or at [email protected]), ideally in a new topic.

1. Look at the “ordering” in the advanced settings. You can select to order by time or name (beware, however, that by time is currently broken for edited images because of a Drive bug – https://github.com/skaut/skaut-google-drive-gallery/issues/86). Alternatively, you can order by name and then prefix the names with an invisible ordering prefix (See “hide everything before the first occurence of:”)

2. Yes. You can see it in the block settings on the right of the editor. You can override many settings for individual blocks. If you are using “Classic editor”, there are some keys that you could set but honestly I don’t remember them (they’re in the docs) and you should be using blocks anyway.

no, the captions are taken from the “description” field in Google Drive. To edit it, you have to open the image in Drive, click on more (three dots), details, and there you’ll see the description.

FF 69 on Linux, FF 68 for Android, your page works on both.

I’m gonna wait until tomorrow for the gallery to expire on my test page, maybe something happens then.
