I don’t know, Steve, as I do not know what the mutlisite option is designed to achieve. I just thought that the person who recommended this knew what they were talking about at the time.

That’s an interesting idea, thanks Steve. I was previously advised that I could use the multisite option in cpanel but I do not see how this would work. Any comments?

I had already covered these two shortcodes and implemented them through reading the content under the two subheaders ‘Set up Questions List page’ and ‘Set up Ask Question Page’ in the list of headers at https://www.designwall.com/guide/dw-question-answer-plugin/ . Given that a separate topic is listed as ‘Shortcodes’ in the *same* list and that under this topic the content I have quoted in my previous post is provided, one would have thought that it is not just the shortcodes ‘[dwqa-list-questions]’ and ‘[dwqa-submit-question-form]’ that are being referred to (if at all). This is why I raised the query.

Okay, Rav; so I just need to explore use of widgets a bit more. I find the use of double quotes really useful and was not aware that this was a feature of the standard search engine on WordPress. Without them, a high percentage of search results on my site would prove irrelevant.

I am sorry that I don’t understand what you are saying in the second paragraph. The feature you have highlighted does not appear to capture the whole term from a string of multiple words or to recognize hyphenated words. The end result is that conjunctives such as ‘of’ in a key term are highighted as separate keywords but the whole string of words, which is needed to make sense, does not get highlighted.

Thanks for this kind suggestion. I have installed the plugin and explored how it works. One main drawback is that I appear to require to know in advance the full email address of each individual that I would wish to be able in principle to access my Intranet page(s) and then require them to register separately for access to these page(s). What I am looking for is functionality that will allow individuals to have access dependent on their ownership of a particular type of email address, without the requirement to register. (Users of my site already have to login to the site as a whole. Adding an extra step of joining a group requiring a new password just to get to at most a few pages is likely to be unpopular.

If it is the file super-socializer/super_socializer.php that I am required to edit, then as I am an administrator, this should not in principle be a problem for me to accomplish. The problem is that I do not understand the code in this file and therefore, in turn, what code is needed to accomplish what I have requested. Can you help, please?
