@hugosilva23, @northernbeacheswebsites I was able to solve the problem through the “Advanced functionality tab“.

    1. This was done by going to the following path: Custom Admin Interface > Admin Menu > Advanced functionality
    2. after that I went to the menu option of the desired plugin and changed the switch to “read” in its last column.
    • Note: In my opinion this is still an error and needs to be corrected, because the user already has native permission granted by me and it was the plugin that removed it, but this may help those who need to solve it quickly.
    • Note 2: I recommend after using this option to return the “Advanced functionality” tab to “Simple functionality” to avoid the possibility of making other changes that may generate errors, remembering that the changes will remain saved.

@northernbeacheswebsites I’m having the same problem with Site Kit by Google.

When I deactivate or delete the plugin, the permissions return. When it is active, the Site Kit page is no longer accessible to users other than administrators. I even tried uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling it so I could do all the configurations from scratch, but the WP Custom Admin Interface unfortunately leaves a lot of residue in the database, which also prevented me from completely redoing the configurations to try to solve the problem. When it is deleted, it leaves all the data. I have already wasted a lot of time trying to solve it, and Site Kit is much more important than Custom Admin because of its impact on SEO. It was the best customization plugin I found, but this problem ends up leaving a lot to be desired because it causes lack of access. ??
