Thank you!
I am disabling plugins now, but I should probably not disable Elementor and Elementor Pro should I?
I will go ahead and update PHP now.
I just received this error in Safari on the page I spoke of earlier (https://aeromatico.com/product/aeromatico-automatic-composter/)
[Error] Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 () (https://aeromatico.com/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/lib/swiper/swiper.min.js.map, line 0)
(see screenshot #3 here: https://imgur.com/a/a2MC79B)
You’ll notice too that the image has now changed to something else, as compared to screenshot #1.
If you’re asking me, I am using Chrome, Firefox and Safari as well as mobile browsers and each one shows different results depending on the day and time, which is all completely random.
Ah ok, that’s good to know. Thank you for responding so quickly. It looks like the site is using PHP version: 5.6.30. Memory limit it 768.
The site was only developed 2 months ago, so perhaps it would be safe to update to 7.2? And is 768 enough memory?
I checked the console and when the images are displaying, there are no errors. Right now, the site is showing the same background image on every page instead of that pages’ unique image. It also shows the image on pages where I have not set a background image for the title, like this page: https://aeromatico.com/product/aeromatico-automatic-composter/ There are no errors when that happens either. The strange thing is, when I inspect the header, it has a background image set to the .page-header class. And it’s set to !important. (see screenshot 1st image: https://imgur.com/a/a2MC79B) Not sure where that is being set from. I searched the custom CSS and it’s not there. I cannot figure out where that is coming from since the other class is also centered-minimal-page-header.
The General > Page Title settings are also set to Centered Minimal.
Ok and now at this moment as I am writing this, the images are not displaying, however the only errors are related to fontawesome. (see screenshot 2nd image)
This is really maddening as it seems to display different things depending on when you are viewing it and what browser or device you are using. It’s completely random.

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Problem with latest version of plugin@green4keeps and @psykro – how strange, I didn’t see the reply about the databases before I wrote my comment, now I see it. Sorry for the duplicate question.
Everything seems to be ok now. For some reason, it wasn’t allowing me to update the plugin before as it kept telling me it’s already installed, but after waiting an hour or so, it seems to be ok now.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Seriously Simple Podcasting] Problem with latest version of plugin@green4keeps, did you figure out how not to lose all your settings from the previous version?
@psykro thanks for fixing this as quickly as you did! I am not sure how to add the new version though. When i try to upload it, it tells me it already exists. Do I have to delete it from the Existing plugins page? And if I do, will I lose all my previous settings?

In reply to: Add HTML inside a php function in functions.phpSince no one seems to know, I figured it out myself. In case anyone else has the same issue, here is what i did. I don’t know if its the best solution, but I added the comments link to the single.php instead of functions.php and added the span tags around the function:
<span class="entry-comments"><a href="#comments"><?php comments_number(__('No Comments', 'themetext'), __('1 Comment', 'themetext'), __( '% Comments', 'themetext') ); ?></a> /</span>
The link is a jump link to the comments section where i added this at the bottom of the single.php file:
<a name="comments"></a>
I’m sure there’s a more elegant solution, but it works.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Changing permalinks from category/postname to postnamei have searched high and low for a solution to this and can’t seem to find anything. I wonder if the Yoast plugin isn’t interfering with trying to add the redirect 301 line in the .htaccess?
I can’t understand why it’s not working unless there is a syntax error. I can’t seem to find one, but maybe someone sees?
Please help, I really don’t know how else to drop the categories from my URLs.

In reply to: Problems with changing permalinks from category/postname to postnameI didn’t use the Yoast plugin to redirect though, just changed my permalinks in the WP settings. I simply mentioned that I had it in case there was a way to do it through Yoast that someone knows about.
If not then I need a solution.

In reply to: Elastislide – A Responsive jQuery Carousel Plugin Installation help.Hi, thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately that slider (like many others) does not have what i am looking for. I’d like one that shows 3 post images at the same time instead of just one and the Elastislide seems like the only one that does this.
