Hello @spaciousmind,
Thanks for writing in and we are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
According to our developer, we’ll still need to check if it’s possible to bypass Ghostery. If it is, we can try to add Ghostery support into the core plugin code.
We’ll keep you posted.
In the meantime, you can try using custom code to detect if Ghostery is blocking a specific Popup Maker URL. That code can display a message to your visitors that use Ghostery.
Here’s a demo of what that would look like.

There’s a link to the sample code in the video’s description.
We hope that helps.
Let us know if you need anything else.
Have a great day! ??
Cheers

Hello @frykky,
Thanks for writing in to us!
Looking at your issue, there might be a CSS conflict on that page that causes the page to freeze.
To override the conflict, add the following CSS code to your site.
.pum-overlay.pum-active, .pum-overlay.pum-active .popmake.active { display: block !important; }
You can add custom CSS to your WordPress site by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from your WordPress admin area.
Learn other ways to add CSS in our Getting Started with Custom CSS guide.
Make sure you save your CSS changes and flush your WordPress caches.
Then, reload the page that’s having the issue.
If it’s still not working, try adding this line of CSS under the display: block !important; line.
opacity: 1 !important; /* Add this line if needed. */
You can view the full source code on GitHub. And for more details: https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/544-your-popup-is-not-displaying-on-your-homepage
If it didn’t help, could you share to us the link page where we can check the issue? For security, could you please send it to us through our support website?
Here’s how to:
1. Go to https://wppopupmaker.com/support/#submit-a-support-ticket

Hello Akash,
Thanks for writing in and sorry to hear that you are having this issue.
Can you please describe the issue you’re seeing?
It would be super helpful to include the following:
1) Write out each specific step you take to see the issue.
2) Copy/paste any error messages (PHP logs, page errors, or dev tools console logs) you see.
3) Attach or post screen captures of the issue (including error messages).
4) Explain what you expect to see or happen that’s not happening
5) Let us know what you’ve already done to try to fix the issue.
Also, please make sure that your Popup Maker plugin and your WordPress are updated to their latest versions.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Have a great day!
Hello @gresio64,
Sorry for the inconvenience and for the delays.
Could you please clarify if you are trying to launch an auto delay popup once someone accepts the cookie notice?
Also, could you let us know which cookie consent plugin are you currently using as there are plugins that already support our Popup Maker plugin.
Looking forward to your reply.

Hello David,
Thank you for writing in to us!
I checked your site and yes I see what you mean.
If you’re using our Videos Extension, then with 1 click, you can have your video pause or stop when you close the popup. Here’s where to find that setting.
https://share.wppopupmaker.com/lluEb08P
Learn more about the extension here: https://wppopupmaker.com/extensions/videos/
If you’re using our free plugin, we’ve got an excellent guide that gives you custom code examples for stopping a video when you close a popup.

If the issue still persists, can you try the following for us?
- Clear out any browser, WordPress, server, database, and CDN caches you have.
