Just for future reference if someone else reads this, I figured out what I was doing wrong: in the HTML of my actual post in WordPress, I was pulling the wrong button code from CSS. I was pulling button secondary-button in the post, but I was modifying the button-active in the CSS stylesheet.

Once I fixed that, it worked. Silly mistake, but I’m glad it wasn’t a big issue! Thanks again for your help.

I’ve never used pastebin before, so hopefully I did that right.

The only things I changed are in 08 buttons the colors. I changed from #199cd8 to #c920c9

Yes, everything is working correctly, but changes aren’t showing up. I disabled the WP caching plugin and everything.

I’ve never tried making edits to the CSS file before, so I may be missing a step?

Ah, shoot, I thought that might happen. It’s hosted on an internal server, so it’s not available to the public. Is there any way you could still help me?
