In reply to: Images cannot be edited without Jetpack pluginCan someone say when this will be fixed? it is really very irritating. I now constantly have to edit everything via the web version instead of via the WordPress app itself.

In reply to: Webp image don’t show in WordPress iOS/iPadOs@jacksonpercy Thanks for your response but I don’t want to convert the images. I just switched to webp format to improve the performance of my site.

In reply to: Webp image don’t show in WordPress iOS/iPadOsokay, so I understand that this is now not possible without Jetpack?
Someone else said that it is possible and that I have to clear cache etc. but none of this helps: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/images-cannot-be-edited-without-jetpack-plugin/

In reply to: Images cannot be edited without Jetpack plugin@t-p Thanks for your response, but this is of no use to me because I’m talking about the WordPress app and you send a link to a guide on how to edit images via WordPress in Safari/Chrome etc.

In reply to: Webp image don’t show in WordPress iOS/iPadOsJust one more question;
Only if I have the Jetpack plugin, can I edit images in the library (add captions, etc.) in the iOS/iPadOS app of WordPress. Why can’t this be done without the Jetpack plugin?
This was always possible before. This is an obstacle for me because I want to get rid of Jetpack.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Site title SEOHi @bobmatyas,
Thanks for your comment. I just don’t understand the last part. If I only enter the post title at the post title, I will of course only have the post title on Facebook etc. Only for all pages, categories etc. I have set the same tagline and stite tile. If one visits my site in Edge or FireFox or what ever then there is the same title everywhere. That’s just neat. Only you do not want to have the entire tagline and site title on Social media.
Because this doesn’t happen if I leave the post title empty in the SEO settings. I thought this was a bug. I don’t think it makes sense that this is presented on social media.`

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Site title SEOHi Dan,
Isn’t this a bug? If I don’t change the title, I just get the post title on sical media.
That SEO title is there for a reason. You must be able to fill this in. So if I do this I get the whole title on social media and that is absolutely NOT desirable.
I’m definitely not handy with codes so I wouldn’t know how to solve this myself.

Your conclusion is correct! Publicize’s behavior doesn’t make sense. As can be read on the internet, many people encounter this. A bug report has been made, what is the next step you will take?
This problem is still happening and unfortunately it has still not been resolved. There is still a huge piece of text in a Facebook post, while the publicize box in Gutenberg only shows the title. This really hampers the operation and I would like to see just the title or a link posted when one does not modify the default text in the publicize box in Gutenberg.
Take this seriously and please fix it! This has been going on for so long, even before I brought it up in June. On the internet you can find several top pics of people who have this same problem.
@kokkieh @supernovia For me, Publish doesn’t just do it if I don’t insert any other text but now it does it by default. This is not workable, a solution can be implemented asap.
Even if I now add my own text, the generated text that I do not want will still come.
@flavioricardo Indeed! Totally agree with you. So many people have this problem. On the internet it is full of toppics about this but nothing is done about it ..
Very special and especially not logical but yes, nothing about the then. Very unfortunate ..
That is exactly what I do not want to have to fill in something extra. You can sometimes forget this. After all, it is not necessary because there is already something filled in in the publicize box in gutenberg. Namely the message title. I just want to keep this in it, but he does not take it, but put a long summary of my published message.
I feel that you do not understand me, but I really cannot explain it more clearly.
However, I find it special; by default, the article title is entered in Publicize in Gutenberg. If you then post the article and then look on Facebook, there is something completely different than what was entered in the Publicize. I think this is just a bug ..
