Just curious, but what advantages do you think a smartphone app will have over a web page shown in a mobile web browser? OK, you will get a notification sent direct to your mobile, but the alternative of looking at your web browser once a day isn’t that difficult. People ask for smartphone apps, but really the advantages for some types of applications will be minimal. There are disadvantages – do you really want to install a smartphone app for everything, which could use your microphone, be badly behaved, not uninstall properly, slow down your phone etc.

Maybe you need to add over 40 characters to the descriptions and a headline before they show up.

I have just tested it with a new Samsung Galaxy Ultra. I used both the Samsung inbuilt browser and the Google Chrome one.

Both worked perfectly with the Rencontre registration procedure.

The only issue is that on the Samsung browser, the “Your profile is empty. To take advantage of the…” modal dialog box did not fit on the portrait orientation screen. The close X button was off the screen. I managed to close it by just swiping to move the screen so it was showing.

Is this the problem? Do some Samsung Galaxy users complain the registration procedure does not work, just because they don’t swipe around to get the close X button to show?

Or is the problem that some older Samsung Galaxy phones have the problem and new ones don’t?

Or is the problem something else and nothing to do with the modal dialogs?

You don’t need this fix now. Just update WooPayments.

Downloading the fix has stopped the fatal error, but I have not checked to see whether it is still possible to buy things. So only a superficial check.

Is there a cookie I can set to automatically change the WooCommerce checkout page from say English to French? Or is the Woocommernce checkout page language set to the WordPress langauge?

Under Settings->General there is an option called “Default customer location”. It can be set to “no location”, “shop region/country”, “geolocate” or “geolocate with page caching support”.

If I change the option to “geolocate” will this mean the checkout page will automatically be translated into the correct langauge for the customer?

If I reload the “Edit My Proflle” page again after adding a photo, the thumbnail is shown. But immediately after adding the photo, it is not shown.

A lot of people have registered with my site. It is just about 5 people that have said they cannot register. This may not be a real bug. Maybe their smartphones have small screens and they are not scrolling down and seeing the SAVE button. They seem to get stuck after registering for WordPress and on the Rencontre registration process. So they get into WordPress but not Rencontre.

Alternatively the smartphone users may just not be scrolling down the web page and seeing what needs to be filled in. Sorry I just have two messages saying people cannot register with their smartphones, but can with laptops.
