On the weekend I updated my son’s dancing website to WP 5.6… Immediate blank screen issue. Every page came up white. If I cleaned the pages cache it still came up white. If I then refreshed it, the normal page showed. This kept happening to each and every page I tried to open.
This week I updated my own website to WordPress 5.6. The exact same thing happened. I restored to the old WordPress version, and everything is working fine again.

So I don’t understand all the work-arounds looking for problems in the plugins or whatever. This is clearly an WP 5.6 update issue.

I therefore would not recommend any update to 5.6 until this problem has been sorted out by the WP 5.6 developers. I certainly won’t update the other 20-or-so websites that I manage.

Actually, I now have it sort of working, only a few problems left. The lettering that gets typed into the fields is very small, and in the times dropmenu the hours overlap each other.
Also, the date-pikker does not show. But without the date picker, dates are entered wrongly and the system doesn’t accept them.

Does all this ring a bell, and help you to point us in the right direction?

We have now gone all the way back to the old site, and rebuilt the new site in top of it, since we couldn’t migrate the sliders. As an art club, you can imagine we have heaps of sliders, and copy-pasting manually was not an option.

The problem is solved. It just requires turning off a default setting of the template.
So for any others encountering this problem with and Envato Themeforest Werkstatt template, go to=>
theme options, then
=> customization, then
=> pre-loaders/lazyload, then
=> turn off: Page transition.
Not only will you then see the forum topic text you are replying to, but all the pages will also open faster!

You are right, I tested on a testsite where I disabled the template, and it worked fine then.
I will check out with the maker of the template to see if he can understand.
The template is an Envato Werkstatt template, by the way, in case you get more questions.

Same here. I am testing the plugin on two sites. I want to clean images. One of the sites has 4 images, the other has 20 images.

So far there is not end and no result, WPS Cleaner starts the Content Analysis and never finishes.

As I want to try it out on another site with 347000 smushed images, I first wanted to ensure it works with only a few images.

It doesn’t seem to work, unfortunately.
