    Hi, well, our hosting company advised against turning it on due to security reasons. I want to follow their advice, because it feels a bit weird to change a setting that could cause security problems for a security improvement plug-in.

    Also, now I’ve deleted the iThemes Security plug-in, and installed the Wordfence plug-in as an extra security layer on their advice.

    But thanks anyway to thinking along and your advice!

    Hmm, maybe the host changed this setting only in their hosting environment?

    Hi, yes I have, today actually.

    It appears that the http method “OPTIONS” is disabled within the DirectAdmin. They say that it’s not being used within standard shared hosting and advised to remove the iThemes Security plug-in.

    There seems to be no way to use the plug-in within this shared hosting environment, so I think I’ll need to follow that advice, since I cannot change any settings. It’s just the way it is then…

    Thank you for your answer. I’ll ask them about it.

    In the mean time here are the details from the site installation. Maybe that helps already to find out what could be the problem?

    +1 for me, I would also love to see the option to hide the language switcher, or to style it a little bit.

    Strange thing is that my custom CSS styling is not being used on the login page.

    I’ve now hidden the language switcher with a custom function in the themes functions.php file;
    add_filter( 'login_display_language_dropdown', '__return_false' );

    Thanks very much!
    Greetings,
    Marjon

    Thank you, deactivating the plugins made no difference but when we switch to the Twenty-One theme it works again. Should we now contact the theme-builder for this?

    Thanks in advance!

    The pro version should add fees to custom gateways it says on their website but I’ll contact their developer about this problem.

    Thank you for your reply!

    Thankfully I found a solution myself!

    Here’s what I did in case anyone else has the same problem;
    – I exported all events through the WP export function. If you wish you can also export the plugin settings through Events > Settings > Admin settings
    – After that I completely deleted the plugin and it’s data. Through Events > Settings > Admin settings you can totally delete everything, don’t just de-install from the plugin screen because the events won’t get deleted then.
    – I installed the plugin again
    – I imported the events again
    – Optionally import the plugin settings again

    This made it work, so I guess I just did a total reset of everything related to this plugin. There must have been something wrong that got fixed this way.

    Hope this can be of use for anyone!

    Sorry about that David, it seemed like the same problem.

    Gladly, my problem solved itself when I exported and re-imported the database, so there’s no need for my own topic anymore.

    Hello Don, thanks for your reply.
    Yes, I tried both repair and optimize of the database.
    Unfortunately, this made no difference.
