Hi Walter
Thanks for the reply.
I have now removed the PDF viewer plugin that seemed to be causing the issue.
Thanks
Mark
Hi
Thank you for your reply.
Yes they do load with UM deactivated.
They load with UM activated too.The problem I have is the redirect loop on the login page.
Thanks
Mark
Hi Ultimate Member
Please could you let me know whether you will look at this issue or not.
I would be very grateful if you can, if not I will use another premium plugin although I would rather not. I would prefer to use your plugin and add on bundle.
Many thanks
Mark
Hi
I am still seeing this issue, would you be able to look at this dev URL for me please:
The loop carries on as the page never loads properly.
Thanks
Mark
Hi
There are a number of PDFs on different pages within the site.
The reason why I think it may be a UM issue is the fact that a few version 1.3.13 the site works fine with the other plugins.
Changes were made to the redirect on version 1.3.53.Both other plugin developers seem to think it has something to do with the redirect.
Thanks
Mark
Hi
I am seeing the following errors in the Network tab of the developer console:
?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fdomain.com%2FBDP-DLE%2Fthemencode-pdf-viewer-sc%2F%3Ffile%3Dhttp%3A%…:261Uncaught TypeError: $ is not a function
It is basically trying to load a PDF on an infinite loop but cant becasuue I am not logged in.
Popup maker plugin support took a look and reported the following:
Basically your page is either loading partially then automatticaly reloading trying to redirect to the file and back to login again, or doing a page load by AJAX which is just looping. In any case its causing an infinite loop to load that pdf but can’t since your still not logged in yet. Its loading all the CSS & images repeatedly as well.
Could this be an issue with the redirect?
Thanks
Mark
Hi
Apologies I was not clear at all.
I was referring to teh page loading gif that appears in the tab of the page.
Thanks
Mark
Hi
Thanks very much for your reply.
That seems to have sorted the issue i.e. the form now displays for the login page.
However, the page still has the circle in the tab showing it is still trying to load and never loads fully. I am not sure if this is something to do with the redirect (it never used to do this)? That doesnt seem right and memory usage seems to keep increasing for the browser when viewing task manager.
Thanks
Mark
Hi
Sure of course is it possible to PM you the link as I dont particularly want to be posting it here? Would you be able to give me an email address or similar that I can send it to?
Thanks
Mark
Hi
It is strange as the login page wont load.
However if I invoke the inspection/developer tool (right click > inspect) the login form appears. If I close the tool down and then select the logo to go back to the home page the login form wont load until I trun the inspection/developer tool back on.Do you have any idea why this could be?
Thanks
Mark
Hi
I have done a lot of testing and contacted both of the developers of the plugins that seem to conflict. They seem to think it could be the UM plugin.
I see on version 1.3.53: June 01, 2016 – Login redirection was fixed/modified.
I have a site running your plugin with the PDF viewer and Popupmaker plugins with no problems. It is running your version 1.3.13.Could there be an issue with that change that is causing the conflict?
Thanks
Mark
Thanks very much submitted a ticket with login details for site and ftp.
Please let me know if you need anything further.
Many thanks
Mark
Hi @danieliser
Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately I have already tried that with no change.
I am happy to PM you some login details if that is easier to have a quick look?
Thanks
Mark
Hi @danieliser
No worries sorry for the delay in coming back to you.
Unfortunately when I deactivate Ultimate Member the popups and pdf viewer work BUT I cant then test the login page loading due to UM being deactivated. Ultimate member have not been the most helpful, they think it is one of the other plugins.
Error details
So the login page will not load when I have the PDF viewer and Popup maker active at the same time.
Once I am logged in they work fine.
If I deactivate one or the other of the PDF viewer or Popup maker then the login page loads no worries. It is a fresh install and I have tried changing the theme.
The complete list of plugins active are:
bbPress ( I have deactivated and deleted this to test with no conflict)
PDF viewer for WordPress
Popup Maker
