  • Same here. It only happens when I use the Divi Builder to construct a page.
It downloads when I open a page and when I save a page.

The reason we used a separate plugin to integrate ziggeo is that we wanted to add ziggeo to a jobboard plugin that we bought. We had the jobboard creators integrate ziggeo into their plugin. It’s a bit above my capabilities…

Now, on to the issue ??

Yes, we want to do exactly what you mentioned above with the addition of:
    1. create a recording on the “my-resume” page
    2. once created, show the video instead of recorder template with option to re-record. (only one video per resume)
    3. Have the video show up in the resume when the resume is viewed by a doctor. For instance – This Page

We probably need to have the recorder use a “ziggeo-key”, probably the username of the maker of the video?
Then have a listener see the video is recorded/uploaded and show the player instead of the recorder.

Then when the video is viewed by a doctor, have the video called up using the “ziggeo-key”/username?

If the above is somewhat correct, I’ll say that I can RTFM, but implementing it into someone else’s code is beyond me. If it’s not correct… well…

    Can you help? ??

I created an account for testing that you can use – the username and password are both “tester”

Thanks for the reply – I’ve been out of state for a bit and can now address our video issue.
The page I previously submitted was a test page. We have had ziggeo incorporated into our site on the resume page – HERE
You will have to create an account to get there.
Can you take a look and tell me what is missing?
I can record a video and it uploads it and seems to save it, but it doesn’t.
We need each individual video to be assigned only to the resume of the person who creates it, and then for an employer to be able to see the video when that person’s resume is selected.
Hopefully, I have given you enough info to diagnose my issue(s)…

    Ah… permalinks…
New question, what makes the parmalinks settings go wonkey?
We are using the “Post Name” setting. I switched it back to “Dafault”, saved, tested, and then switched back to “Post Name”, and all is well.

So, what makes the parmalinks settings go wonkey?

    TIA!

I clicked on your link above, it opened in Firefox using the VLC plugin and I watched for over 5 minutes. The progress bar was barely 10% across.
I have no doubt that it would have played the entire 44:36 if I had waited that long.

    1. Where are you getting this time of 2:45? From the Contus WordPress Video Gallery player?
    2. When the timer reaches 2:45 in your browser, what happens? On my browser, it keeps playing.

The issue is that EVERY video on that page shows 2:45 in the Contus WordPress Video Gallery player. None, I repeat, NONE of the videos on that page (https://www.murrietaumc.com/sermon-archives) are less then 30 minutes long. Every one will play past the 2:46 minute mark shown by the Contus WordPress Video Gallery and keep playing until it finishes.

I just want to know if there is a way to make it show the accurate play time?
We are planning on purchasing the license to remove the advertising, but not if it doesn’t work.

    Karthikeyani –
Yes, they ALL show 2:46 as the length.
Take the first wideo – Prayer WOW! – please watch it. When it starts, the counter works great and shows 2:46 as the length of the video. Yet, when the timer reaches the 2:46 limit, the video continues and in reality the video is 44:36 in length.
This is what I’m trying to fix.
All of the videos on that page are longer then the 2:46 shown on the counter – they’re all between 40 & 60 min each.
How do I get the timer to show an accurate video length?

    Thanks!

It’s funny – from my point of view – I think I found the answer, and forgot to post it here.

If memory serves, it was a memory problem on the server – I was running too many plugins and sort of ran out of memory on the server.
So, what I did was turn off all the plugins that I was not using.

After that, the backups started working. I think that the restarts are built into the program, which is good, the trick is to get the server to recognize them by not having too much junk running.

    I hope this helps!
