So, I took your advice and learned that if I log in with an editor account, all is well. Of course I have the editor role enabled. Admin is still limited. Weird…

It is not multi-site.

Yes, I am quite sure that I’m logged in as an administrator. Yes, I understand that admin accounts have “edit_files” by default. Time to do some more homework about what changed from previous versions, in my humble opinion. I can edit everything else logged in as admin on my sites. We’re at the latest version of WordPress with the latest version of MH Themes Magazine on over two dozen sites. They all have this issue.

Did a bit of detective work. I disabled all plugins, except for Lana Downloads Manager, and the problem persisted.

I understand. Again, I am logged in as an administrator. There’s no need to add any other roles for my purposes. Still the problem persists. I still can’t add a URL to the File Manager section. I hope this makes sense.

Thank you. I just now updated to revision 1.7.0. I’m logged in as admin. It still says I don’t have permission to edit files in the File Manager section.

What am I missing?
