Great question. You are asking whether rpwe can automatically determine the category and limit the display of content to that category. As far as I know (as a garden-variety user of the plugin), this is not possible without some additional coding. I would like the functionality that you suggest.

Yes. In the form, you can choose to include Posts or Pages or both (along with other instances of post_type.

Thanks for your reply. Yes. With the functionality you describe, I must choose all of the categories and/or tags I want to INclude. If I add more categories and tags, I must go into each widget instance and INclude those. What I would rather do is EXclude the one category that I do not want to be represented.

I think you want to use the number that represents the tag rather than the text. It still must be enclosed in “” e.g. tag=”12″ where 12 is the number that identifies the tag.

Thanks angslycke. I appreciate the workaround. I will use it. Meanwhile, I would still like to see this resolved the way it is intended to work. I do not think this is resolved. Anyone else have a solution?

I tried Dropbox Photo Sideloader, but it didn’t work for me. Couldn’t get it to work even once. I see that it may be working for others, however.
