Hi @adamkheckler ,
still recovering from Christmas and New Year ??
But it’s not forgotten and still important… will follow up on the topic and get back to you asap.
Cheers
MarkusHi Doug,
jepp, I will track it down and keep you in the loop.
Good hint with Github, too.
My first guess is that the impact depends on how massively the page is already optimised before activating the buttons… but that’s still a guess. Thanks for your ideas!
Enjoy the holidaysMarkus

Hi Doug,
I will check it after the Christmas season (because I have to take down the Shop for that).
But I have to say that I doubt it is due to other plugins, because the different tools clearly state that the issue is due to the massively increased amount of requests in combination with the lack of an appropriate caching strategy of these files.
PageSpeed in general is difficult to be used as single tool, because I suspect it to run in US, not in Europe. Thus, it is quite relevant how many requests get served from where. That is why I suspect PageSpeed to have such a massive drop.
Lighthouse and GTMetrix run on systems relatively ‘close’ to the server, which result is less dramatic drops in performance but still, the vast amount of requests just kill it…
I’ll give you feedback as soon as I tested it
Cheers
MarkusHey @adamkheckler
thanks for your quick feedback.
Yes, the value is exactly the same.
It also works for ‘normal’ payment types.I will check it after the Christmas business is over ??
Getting back to you…
Thanks
MarkusHey @jricketts4 – can you help out here?
I know it’s a long text, but it is worth reading ??

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Issues with best_selling / [best_selling_products]Hey @kosiew,
if the shortcodes work, they will work with Elementor, too.
So no need for a ticket in Elementor support forum because it only can display the correct stuff if the stuff gets retrieved correctly ??The issue link you posted leads to a 404.
Could you please post the correct link?Thx

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Issues with best_selling / [best_selling_products]Hey @kosiew,
thanks for the quick feedback!
The bug describes exactly my issue (but does not tackle the sorting question – anyway).
Unfortunately, the Best Selling Products block behaves exactly the same.
So, no workaround for it.Cheers
MarkusPS: besides that, I need a solution for Elementor, too

In reply to: [WooCommerce] How to: force font-display: swap on fonts?Hey,
ok, I was not precise enough. Fair point!
I posted it here because it is an issue which occurs from a woocommerce-interal implementation.
The font (which I suppose is used for the ratings!?) /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/assets/fonts/star.woff gets loaded without font-display:swap which results in a finding e.g. in PageSpeed / Lighthouse.
I consider it a flaw which really bugs me.
Since it will affect everyone, I supposed there was a solution proposal in this forums context (or an info if / when this will change).
Any further feedback is very appreciated
Thanks
MarkusSeems I have figured out the issue (although I don’t understand it).
In GTM I used a GA setting variable which contained the GA-ID + a custom setting (anonymizeIp = true).
If I configure my GA Event tags using this, it fails.
If I use only the GA-ID and set anonymizeIp = true inside the tag itself, it seems to work. Why?
Should’t it work also the other way?I debugged it further and it seems the browser has issues firing the GA Events, e.g.:
Executing Google Analytics commands. Running command: ga("gtm12.set", ">m", "2wgb41PMNDSX8") Command ignored. Unknown target: undefined
No clue what’s the cause nor how to approach it.

In reply to: [WP Fastest Cache] no-store causes issuesHi Emre,
thanks for the info, but is there a way to define what wpfc does write as header params?
Thx
MarkusHey mate,
you showed me the right direction!
In safe mode, everything was fine so I investigated a bit and it turned out, the issue disappeared as soon as I disabled “WP Fastest Cache”, which was kind of strange. So I digged deeper and since I have a WP Fastest Cache integration with Cloudflare, I also checked the settings there – and there was the issue…
I must have accidentally enabled the Cloudflare Rocket Loader plugin which plays with loading JS files asynchronously… not an issue in the front end but when editing…So, issue identified and solved.
Thanks a lot
Markus ??
