I believe you can mod the wp_options and change the string for the site.

I am guessing you changed the url to NOT include /blog, am I correct?

I am guessing at what you did, so you can try this:
https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/

You need to login to your host do this.

OR

You can move the files in /blog to /.

Have you checked your htaccess file? It’s possible you may have a bed rewrite or redirect, maybe even a rogue one.

the last time I had an issue with archive pages, it was due to them not being in the right place, or not turned on (some plugins can disable them, ditto for some themes). Have you contacted the company you bought the them from?

You can allow them to post to your blog if you are not using MU, if you want multiple blogs you need MU

That site is not hosted on WP dot com. It’s hosted on layeredtech.

Gangleri, not everyone is a “Picasso” like you, so sometimes we mere mortals have to use whats availible. Maybe when we reach the higher planes you gods of design occupy, we can create something artistic and make you happy. Clearly that is what matters. Content? pffft, it has to look pretty!

Sorry I couldn’t resist. Having said that, is there a reson why the WP-SUPERCACHE plugin I believe) says that the ‘root’ directory for the site root should not be writable by the anyone including the owner? This of course make upgrading difficult, but beyond that, why?

Do you post strictly via the web interface? What browser or tool do you use to post?

added: If you are logged in as an author, I don’t think you can select any other account. I think only Admin can do that. Could be wrong.

I just noticed that several forums are talking about this very same issue. It is not WP specific. Seems someone has found a way to mod htaccess.
