I have managed to fix it. Thank you for your help. I noticed the permalinks wasn’t actually setting to %postname% so after digging further I renamed my htaccess file and allowed wordpress to create a new one and then resave my permalink structure and the course showed back up again.

I have tried this suggestion and unfortunately, it is still not working. I duplicated the course and it directs to a 404 page. Then I created the course again from scratch and just added a few lessons to test it and then published it and it still directed to a 404 page.
