In reply to: Collapsing the Header of Blog Posts When OpeningHi @dakkkar98,
Thanks for the additional details.
It seems to me that your theme has, by default, a normal look of the navigation bar (header). Therefore the image that you have added on top is why your header is bigger.
For collapsing it, you would need some code implementation with which I cannot help and believe that this forum is not the right place for it. You’d want to write to specific theme support:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/generatepress/
and learn if someone there can help.Lastly, there’s this plugin, which you can test too:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/nav-menu-collapse/Hope this helps.

In reply to: Accidentally Removed Necessary Account PageHi Irene,
Glad the issue is solved. Perfect.
Regarding the ‘my account’ page. I believe you are using some plugin/third-party membership service for it, therefore the issue might be related to that plugin/service and not WordPress itself.I may be wrong as I don’t have enough context. If I am wrong, feel free to open a new issue explaining it in great detail and providing video or screenshot materials. Or provide such guidance here so I can take a closer look.
Cheers!

In reply to: Accidentally Removed Necessary Account PageHi Irene,
Not sure what exactly you are describing as you should be able to log in to your WordPress account and do site changes, regardless of what pages you have deleted. So to login to your site, you can simply go here:
https://eldoradohillsbowmen.com/wp-login.php
Log in and revert the changes you want.
Let me know if you have any questions or if I have misunderstood the issue.
Cheers.- This reply was modified 2 years, 7 months ago by Marko Ivanovic.

In reply to: Using a new WordPress ThemeHi @shannon1995,
There is a plugin that can help you with that. I am sharing an article that has careful instructions.
Nevertheless, make sure that you go through it fully and that you create a backup of the site to not lose data.

Hope this helps.

In reply to: Accidentally Removed Necessary Account PageHi @ninjadiver11,
If you accidentally deleted the page, it is most likely in the trash and you can restore it easily. Check the below article by Simon, where you’ll find alternative and backup options that may help.

In reply to: Advise Please – Someone else has logged onHi Peter,
No problem. Hope you are set and won’t experience such situation again.

In reply to: Advise Please – Someone else has logged onHi, @delta-skies ,
Sad to hear that, but glad it didn’t cause major troubles.
Here is an article about ‘revisions’ for pages and posts. This will help you learn if anything was changed and restore it to its ‘previous state.
https://wordpress.com/support/editors/page-post-revisions/Also, you may want to run Health check troubleshooting to learn if anything is wrong with the website. Use this plugin.
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/Lastly, to try to prevent this from happening again you’ll want to activate two-step authentication, which will provide more security to your account. https://wordpress.com/support/security/two-step-authentication/
Hope this helps. Let me know in case you have any other questions.

In reply to: Collapsing the Header of Blog Posts When OpeningHi @dakkkar98,
It seems like you’re experiencing a theme predefined setup that has the header always fixed. To learn if I can help and if the theme allows what you ask, can you share with me the following information:
– Link to a live website. If not able to provide, please provide a screenshot or video walkthrough of your example.
– What theme are you using?
– What version of WordPress are you using?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: When setting a page as home page, content disappearsHi @eddyah5,
Your theme seems a bit complex and has plenty of influence over the website. Therefore it might be the case that you need help from the theme provider support.
I believe your theme is etalon by: https://www.keydesign-themes.com/.
2) If you’d like you can leave a screenshot of what elements are missing from home2 and I can check more precisely if there are any obvious things in WordPress that can cause this issue. However, my strongest guess is that you’ll need help from theme support.

Also, you’d want to make sure to test the following things:
*you use the latest WordPress version
*test if this happens when all your plugins are temporarily deactivated. You can use the Health Check plugin for this, which will not change your live site –?https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/- This reply was modified 2 years, 7 months ago by Marko Ivanovic.

In reply to: Defining width of a block/column on desktopHi @ef2713,
Could you test the advised?
I see that your columns look better now. Is the issue solved?

In reply to: HeaderHi @ksoussou,
Very pleased to learn that you were able to back up the earlier version and that it satisfies your need.
For the issue you described in the previous comment I can suggest that most likely your theme changing and the theme itself made the issue, not WordPress.
In case of the issue reappears, make sure to contact the theme support or developers forum and seek for direct solution, rather than using a previous version of your website (hence you will want to have all the latest edits on your website, I believe).
Cheers!

In reply to: When setting a page as home page, content disappearsHi @eddyah5,
Can you please double-check?
When I go to https://www.yahwehwitnesses.com/ it doesn’t lead to only “MAIN MENU, SLIDER and FOOTER” but I also see posts, which indicate that you maybe have selected “Your homepage displays > Your latest posts” or named another page in there as your home page.

If I am mistaken, please let me know if you can confirm that you indeed did make the proper selection as in this screenshot.

In reply to: Auto Generating post categoriesHi @niteshgupta5,
Have you solved your issue? Do you still need help?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: HeaderHi @ksoussou,
01. Hm, weird. The quickest way to do this is —?once you’ve enabled Troubleshooting mode, by simply clicking (in the top bar) troubleshooting>themes and selecting the default theme that is present. Here’s an article that can help:
https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/02. SRC attribute is the source URL of the image in HTML. In our case, I was referring to the logo. On all pages except the contact, your SRC attribute was empty/blank, while on contact there is a specified link that enables your logo to load in the header. Now I see that your logo is back on all pages. Can you let me know what you did to make this happen?
03. ‘Drop-ins’. Ok. Then they most likely are created by the plugins. As there’s not enough documentation on this issue, please check the article once more.
04. Theme. My apologies, there’s a similar theme from the Divi provider and I thought you are using a different theme by mistake. Can you share the source of your theme (web link) or is it a custom-made theme?
—
Considering everything here, I believe you would need to write to the developer’s forum. Before that, let me know the answers to questions 02 & 04 to learn if I still can help with some walkaround here so we can have the ‘contact us’ visible too.

In reply to: Header`Hi @ksoussou,
I see. After some testing, let me share several things that may help:
The missing header issue.
01. Did you try putting your site in the default theme? Did that make any difference?
02. SRC attribute is empty/unknown for your logo and contact info (except on the contact page). This can be due to plenty of reasons. Can you try and replace the logo with some other image and see if there are any changes?Drop-ins.
03. ‘Drop-ins’ appeared may come from your hosting. Could you reach out to your hosting and check if their service caused the ‘drop-ins’ to appear? Here’s an interesting article about it too:
https://kevdees.com/what-are-wordpress-drop-in-plugins/04. Conclusion. Is your theme Divi? If so, there is their ‘Divi’ plugin too. Can you confirm this?

If the default theme and image replacement don’t solve your issue, please reply to all questions by referencing them as above (01,02,03,04). Thanks!
