In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Can’t expand Yoast when creating new WP postYes Firefox is up to date and the latest version. Disabling browser extensions has no effect.
Interestingly my other client sites that I have now updated to Yoast 15.5 are working fine in Firefox, it’s just this one that is having issues.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Can’t expand Yoast when creating new WP postHi Jerlyn,
I tried with the default theme and enabling plugins one-by-one but this did not help. I am using Firefox and found a solution that details how other Firefox users have had this problem and that the Yoast tabs worked for them in Chrome or a private window. On trying Chrome the tabs were restored, so must be a JS browser issue with Firefox.Issue and workaround was reported in Yoast 3.9 here:

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Can’t expand Yoast when creating new WP postHi Priscilla,
I tried the Enable JQuery Migrate Helper plugin but the errors still appear. Deactivating all plugins did not work either. Yoast 15.4 worked fine with my site, it is only 15.5 which sees the meta boxes not appearing as laurenpacek screenshot shows.I’m going to try rolling back to 15.4 to see if this works as this was all that changed between Yoast working well and the subsequent issue with the meta boxes.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Can’t expand Yoast when creating new WP postHi, having this exact same problem since updating to 15.5 – only updated Yoast plugin when this happened and still on WordPress 5.5.3
Here is what I see in the console: https://ibb.co/9bnnrQb
Hi Ben, the update has sorted it out. It’s working perfectly again now.
Thanks for remedying this.
Hi Ben,
This issue has reared its head again since the last plugin update. On desktop parallax images are working fine, but on mobile they are setting themselves as the background for the whole page.
eg https://www.powred.net/wordpress-web-design/prices/business-website-package/
All caches have been cleared on Litespeed cache as well as experimenting without css minification, but it has no effect.
The CSS code posted here last time is still in place, removing it goes back to the flickering parallax effect that was reported in the first forum post.
@media not all and (min-resolution:.001dpcm) {
@supports (-webkit-appearance:none) {
@media (max-width: 1024px) {
.wp-block-kadence-rowlayout [id*=”jarallax-container-“] {
clip: auto !important;
}
}
}
}Changing the images to scroll setting fixes the issue, but any other ideas or suggestions as to why this is happening with parallax images just on mobile would be really appreciated?
Thanks
MarkThanks Ben. Very much appreciated.
Hi Ben, yes that has sorted it. Litespeed cache and Kadence have been working well together until version 1.84, could you shed any reason as to why the css isn’t being loaded?
No problem. Thanks Hannah.

In reply to: Different paragraph font colours despite setting the same colourThe blockquote – from the stackable plugin – was passing on font styling to the blocks below. Redoing the blockquotes with a quote block from another plugin has solved this issue. Thank you for your help Tony.

In reply to: Different paragraph font colours despite setting the same colourSorry, I meant to attach a screenshot that the person I’m doing this for sent as they’ve highlighted this and won’t let it go.

In reply to: Different paragraph font colours despite setting the same colourHi Tony,
Makes perfect sense. Interesting that removing the blockquote in your screenshot makes the text run exactly the same colour. Could the blockquote be affecting it by passing on some properties? as the paragraph before the quote is a darker shade of blue than the paragraph after. The blockquote is also set to the blue #198FB5 but that runs a lighter shade as well, which i’m guessing is to do with it being an italic and a different font (Montserrat).

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Image backgrounds being added to postsCookie blocker has restored everything to normal
Hello, I had this exact problem with screen blanking in wordpress after updating to BPS 3.0 today. I have “Subscribe to comments reloaded” installed and thus found this great support thread.
Amending the line:$autofix_message = bpsPro_autofix_message($autofix_message);
to
$autofix_message = 1;
in the file “plugins/bulletproof-security/includes/hud-autofix-whitelist.php” solved the issue and all returned to normal. Thanks for the information and the great plugin.
