In reply to: [WP-Members Membership Plugin] Hide username on registration formThis functionality, ‘use email address as username’, should be easy to enable in the settings. The golden rule is, the less fields you have, the higher the opt-in rate.
The username field is one too many. It’s totally not needed.
People nowadays are used to login with their unique e-mail address and a password. Is it possible to add this functionality? (Disable the username field, so that it automatically uses the email address as user)
Or do you have a complete working snippet, we can add to functions.php?

Hi Jos,
Aha! Yes I read your comment, but i didn’t understand that it was due to a previous incomplete translation that we got English emails. Until last week.
Thanks for mentioning it again.
@wfphil how can we set the WordFence language to English, when the website language (which is the FRONT end language) is for example set to Dutch?
Admins have their languages in their user profiles set to English, so they have an English back end.
Is it possible to set of force WordFence to use English?
Thank you both!
Hi!, yes I have a staging site for every website. I will try that.
But please remember that this language issue suddenly started last week.
Not only on my sites, but I saw other people are having the same issue. Was there a WordFence update that changed something in the way it determines the email language?

Well?
Hi, Yes, I just sent it….
Hi @wfphil, Sorry, I understand more emails are received on that email address, so I have just re-forwarded it, and also mentioned the link to this conversation, so you know that you have the right email.
Yes, it’s indeed a weight loss website.
I have also just sent the the diagnostics report.
It looks like WordFence suddenly started to use the site language as the language for their e-mails, which is pretty stupid of course. A site language does in no way mean that people managing the site speak that language too.
We have sites in many different languages, but they are managed by English speaking people. So why is WordFence suddenly trying to guess what language people understand?
Isn’t there a language selection option in the WordFence settings?

Hi, No, I am not using that plugin.
I have just forwarded one such email that is suddenly written in Dutch…
In the forward, you’ll see the email address where it was sent originally.
You’ll also see the domainname there.(I don’t want to write those things here)

In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] Read more soonerAh, that is indeed a good solution. Thank you very much!
However, I tested it and the text string “View Replies” is not translated, while it IS translated in the translation file.
The text string “Hide Replies”, IS translated and does work correctly.
How can I translate the text string “View Replies”?

In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] Read more soonerBut if you are referring to this setting in the WordPress Discussion settings:
“Break comments into pages with 6 top level comments per page and the first page displayed by default”
Then this does NOT work, because this relates to the TOP LEVEL comments.
Often, a first top level comment has 80+ sub comments. So the page will show all of these 80+ sub comments, and then the second top level comment, with all its sub comments.
No, no, no … This is not working.
I need a way to limit the amount of displayed comment, no matter if it’s a top level of sub level comment.

In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] Read more soonerAre you referring to the WordPress dashboard, or the WP Discuz Dashboard? Beause in WP Discuz, I cannot find such a setting. And in WP Discussion settings there is no such a value to be set.

In reply to: [Advanced Ads –?Ad Manager & AdSense] Can it do this?Hi Henning,
Thanks for answering so quickly. I have sent you a message via your customer support with an explanation of what I need.
Kind regards,
MarkyHi Gregor,
Thanks again.
It looks like a CORS issue.I have made a screenshot, maybe it helps.
https://snipboard.io/i71Vao.jpgHave a great day too!
Hi, Yes, you’re right. It’s the plugin “Ultimate addons for Elementor”, v1.30.2.
When I disable that plugin, I can access the tools page. So it’s definitely a conflict between your plugin and this Elementor plugin
Hi Gregor, thank you for responding quickly.
Logging out and back in, doesn’t change anything. I tried it via the Tools page, but the Tools page itself returns the exact same error.
I did a sweep in the backend to cleanup all unused and outdated stuff, but this didn’t help.
I disabled WordFence and WP-Rocket… Also no difference.
Kind regards, Mark
