If so, please try to use the “Update posts” action as shown here.
Should that work, the issue may be that the cron job that triggers the feed updates isn’t working for some reason. We’ve written more about this issue here.
If that doesn’t fix the issue, please let me know and we’ll investigate further.

We’ve seen this happen from time to time for a number of reasons, but it shouldn’t keep repeating itself, that’s for sure.
Have you also tried reconnecting your Instagram account at any point? That usually helps to clear up any hidden issues.
If you have, we may need to investigate deeper. Firstly, can you please share the access token expiry date? You can find it in the Accounts list. Click on the IG account in question and then “View access token”. You’ll need to enter your WP admin password to view the access token and its expiry date.
@sisytecnetworks it may be the case that your client was live on Instagram just when Spotlight was updating its feeds on their site, so the two lined up. At other times, that may not happen so the import wouldn’t catch the Instagram Live. I’m afraid there doesn’t seem to be a way around this at the moment.
Hey @simonmaddox, we’re going to look into this and find alternative options. Rather than having a definable color background (to avoid adding too many options), would a transparent background with just a swirling GIF be a good idea in your case?
@sisytecnetworks the Instagram API seems to provide Live videos only while they are actually live, so even if Spotlight can import them, they would be removed once they are no longer live. This appears to be a limitation of their API so we won’t be able to import them to your site for you.
Hi @sisytecnetworks, can you please clarify what you’re referring to when you say “Instagram directs”? Are you referring to this?
If yes, the Instagram API doesn’t make that information available for Spotlight to import at the moment.

In reply to: [Spotlight Social Feeds - Block, Shortcode, and Widget] Not connectingHi @kees78, is the Instagram account you’re connecting a Personal or a Business/Professional account? If it’s a Personal one, you shouldn’t need to log in via Facebook.
However, if it’s a Business account, a Facebook connection is required. Typically, when something goes wrong at that stage, Spotlight isn’t involved since we don’t control that connection – it’s all done securely through Instagram/Facebook.
It would be best if you can send us a screencast of the process that you’re following. Would that be possible?
