In reply to: [Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce] Issue with Authentication workflowHi there,
Hope you’re well. I was just doing some final testing for our Black Friday promo, and I noticed the issue is still present. Any chance this will be resolved by tomorrow?
It really does tend to cause some issues as people navigate out of the tab thinking something has gone wrong.
Let me know
Thanks in advance

In reply to: [Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce] Issue with Authentication workflowhi again,
so, the issue here is the loader not coming up when the card requires 3D checking.
I see you did not use one the test stripe cards that require this.
please use 4000000000003220 and you should see the problem.thanks.
Hi again,
Hope you’re well. So, I isolated everything else, plugins, themes, etc, and got the same behavior.
If I use your plugin, no account is created, if I use the Stripe original one, the account is created on a failed attempt.
Have a look: https://vimeo.com/875529635/bf37ed21ba?share=copy
Thanks in advance

In reply to: [Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce] Issue with Authentication workflowHi again,
I did some more testing. Unfortunately, it keeps coming back to your plugin. I disabled all plugins, even changed themes to 2023. Same result.
You can test it yourself with the a stripe test card that requires 3DS2?such as 4000000000003220
Let me know
Thanks

In reply to: [Payment Plugins for Stripe WooCommerce] Issue with Authentication workflowHi there.
Ok, I’m not sure why this is not working properly then. I assure you the only thing I changed from one to the other was to swap Stripe plugins.
Here’s a URL you can test with: https://journey.test.portuguesewithcarla.com/checkout/?add-to-cart=12497
Really appreciate you looking into this.

Hi there @mrclayton
Thanks for getting back to me on this.
So, I’m referring to the user being created in WordPress. So, for example, in the original Stripe plugin, if the payment fails for some reason (authentication, or other), the user is created in WordPress.
As soon as I migrated to your plugin, I started noticing that that stopped happening. So, the user was only created once a successful payment was made. This, I think, is a disadvantage s we cannot target this person via email for example.
I was reminded of this yesterday when I was doing testing for the other issue. When I tried to create a subscription with the original Stripe plugin, even though I closed the authentication modal and the payment check obviously failed, the user was created immediately. See what I mean?
A little more testing. It seems that re-loading the page (sometimes twice) works. It’s very strange
No caching enabled btw
Interestingly enough @giuse
The issue happens even if I leave the page for a while without any plugin restrictions.
Hi Jose,
Hope you’re well. The issue with the 404 is back I’m afraid.
No error messages on the plugin. But now it’s happening intermittently on a specific page. The page is a very simple one loading a shortcode. That’s it.
To fix it, I need to go into your plugin, enable all plugins and disable them again. That works every time.
Sometimes clearing LiteSpeed cache also works. But not always.
I know I don’t need the disabled plugins for this page and indeed it works fine most of the time, but sometimes it just shows a 404 screen.
Any ideas?
Sounds good @giuse
I will try to investigate this further before applying further filters. But really appreciate your kindness with this.
So, just installing the pro version. DO I necessarily have to have the free plugin still installed?
Let me know

Hey @giuse
It seems even though the browser got stuck, everything else went through ok and the account was properly created and license issued.
Hey @giuse
Thanks once more for your reply.
You know what, that is true, I don’t want this plugin to die off, and honestly, your support so far has merited the price of the plugin, so I have just purchased it. Well, I tried, but there is some sort of issue on your site communicating with Stripe. See https://ibb.co/yQR2Rv5 It just sat there for a good few minutes and I gave up. The amount was taken from my account (at least temporarily) so I don’t want to try again until you have a look at it.
Another question, is it possible to disable a plugin by user’s device. I have noticed that a given plugin is casing issues only on a Chromebook. Weird.
Let me know
