Thanks for your reply. I built it with a child theme, so I’ve been editing the css in my text editor.

I’ve tried changing the footer to position: static that but it brings the footer up the page. This page has no content apart from the header, footer and background-image. When I was building the site, I had some issues with keeping the footer at the bottom on all pages and at all screen sizes.

Changing the animation type from JQuery to CSS has resolved the title and navigation bars moving up and down the image but short of a lot of hacking, I couldn’t find an ideal way to not show the title, not mess up the layout and keep just the bottom arrows, however.

It is working but I have another issue now. The title and bottom bar cover the images on this page:

I would prefer to hide the tile but keep the navigation at the bottom – below the full image.

If I add this code:

#swipebox-top-bar {
display:none !important;
}

I get strange behaviour where the bottom navigation bar comes up about 2 – 3em from the bottom of the page and is covering the image.

I’ve tried experimenting with various different things but have not resolved it yet. Any ideas? Many thanks

Hi @siobhyb Thanks a lot for that. I contacted the plugin support and the reason the Easy Swipebox plugin wasn’t working was that the thumbnails were linked to ‘none’ and needed to be linked to ‘media file’. It is all working fine now.

I want to go back and get it working the more complex way, for peace of mind. So I will settle with what is working at the moment and spend more time researching as you suggested.

Aha! I had no idea it had to be linked to the media file. The default gallery – Carousel – does not need to be. It’s all working now, thanks a lot!!

Thanks for that. I tried that locally and played around withe max-width value but it made the text jump to the right and it was still separated. Would I need to change the alignment of the text also?
