I checked, and found out, that the event_name is empty, because I used the shortcode for the the event_scheme instead of the short_code for the event itself. Thats why the string is empty.

Regarding the bug you found: so, if you want to use the same scheme (e.g. same table setting) for different events, you would have to make a template (a scheme, that is not beeing used for an event) of the scheme, because it would overwrite your values of the seats from two or more events…

ok, strike that, since I copied the folder via FTP the owner of the folder seems to be wrong, so thats why the update fails…

ok, I copied via ftp. the previous version from a back-up, into the wp plugin folder. Before I renamed the current 0.7.0 book-a-place folder.

I did also backup the entire database, which was not necessary, but better safe than sorry…

All I had to do, go in the dashboard and activate the plugin book-a-place, which got automatically deactivated after an error during the update process.

Will investigate on a local copy, what went wrong, when I get the time to do so ??

for icons in menus I use the plugin Menu Icons

if the word CART has no specific individual CSS class you a cannot change it with using custom CSS plugin – it would change the color of other words in that class as well.

So for changing individual Colors of specific words you would need to create a child theme and in that create a custom CSS class and attach to your text CART … but that is already a lot of work for a beginner…

I think you are using the wrong template for all the other pages. If thats the case , then this would be a wordpress issue and has nothing to do with the theme.

to try that out, just change the theme to another one and see how your pages are beeing affected.

Why did it work without checked box in versions before? I do not know…
