In reply to: Title of Post Repeating Itself in Snippet Under PictureI do the title of the post in the top title box and then when I go into the editor to begin composing the article I put a header in restating the purpose of the post. I like the header, but I suppose I can start leaving the header out.

In reply to: [Magic Action Box] Seems to simply not be workingOh ok, I was thinking it was something I was doing. I didn’t realize it was going to generate a submit URL, I wasn’t sure exactly how it worked. I didn’t understand what you meant by incomplete, I thought I had left something out. I will submit a ticket so that the bug can be found and fixed.
Thank you for helping me understand this, I appreciate it.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Magic Action Box] Seems to simply not be workingThank you. I am still figuring all of this out. I don’t know where it needs to submit the form to, is there something in MailChimp or Magic Action Box I need to do? I don’t know where or what it is. I created my own thank you page and put the redirect url in the url box in Magic Action Box, I didn’t see where MailChimp would create one. I have created a list in MailChimp, but I did not create a group since I have only just created the list and my blog has only been up about 5 months. I am sorry to be such a pain, but this thing has frustrated me to no end. I keep going in and looking at everything, but obviously I am missing something or just don’t know what to look for. Thank you for you assistance though.

In reply to: [Magic Action Box] Seems to simply not be workingWhat is it showing/not showing that makes it incomplete. I don’t know what to look for.

In reply to: [Magic Action Box] Seems to simply not be workingThank you for responding. Here is the link to one of my blog posts: https://mjsoddballblog.com/703-2/. This is supposed to be a pretty permalink so I don’t know what happened here. And, I am using MailChimp as the mail service. As far as I know I have that set up correctly. All I have done is install the plugin, create the box and tell it where to put the box, which is at the end of the article. That is why I don’t really understand what I could be doing wrong, it is pretty straight forward on the set-up unless there is a key component I missed.

https://antispambee.comIt ended up I had to get a new API key after I created my list. It was just a lucky fluke I had the idea to try that and was shocked when it actually worked. Now I need to figure out a way to get my personal info out of the mailchimp signup email that goes out to people when they subscribe. I can’t figure out were the info is coming from and how to get rid of it.

In reply to: Flooded with new (fake) subscribers to blogI will but my c-panel can still be kind of confusing for me so I will need hubby’s help to go in and see what all he can find. I also did buy the premium so I do have the capability to go in an do that. And I re-activated my subscribe widget but I’m still on the lookout for one that will give me more options of control.

In reply to: Flooded with new (fake) subscribers to blogJackie, the subscribe widget I was using was the one that comes with Jetpack. I just used that one because I am still learning the useful plugins from the no so useful. I looked at the other plugins but I wasn’t really sure which one would be a good one to use. There are so many options and it is difficult to cull out the one I think I would like.

In reply to: Flooded with new (fake) subscribers to blogJackie, I just went and looked up Stop Spammers and it says it is currently untested with my version of WP or something like that. I read somewhere not to use one if it was untested with current version or do you think it’d be safe to install? I would like to have my subscribe to blog back.
