Hi,

I deleted EVERYTHING in the wp-content > cache folder and went back to the dashboard WP-Optimize > Cache and it stated that there were still 5 files and it was 132.54 in size. Strange, as I just deleted everything but hey, no problem I just hit the button again.

Even with so few files and that small size it never stops purging. So I reloaded the page again and now it states that there are 1019 files with a size of 48.04 MB.

I looked the the server and saw it added a HUGE load of files again in a folder calles wpo-cache > mysiteurl.com

So it’s not so much purging as adding files (quit the opposite of purging).
Is that normal behaviour? Because if it is what is the point of the purging option?

Now it decreased to 37.84MB and 827 files. I give up and will wait for support.

Okay, I refreshed the page as it never stopped and tried again. Now the cache size has increased to 85.61 MB and the number of files has also increased to 2039.

Thsi is weird.

Before I do that I just want to make sure this doesn’t affect the titles and meta descriptions I filled in under each page and post? I can’t afford to loose those.

The css worked. So that’s a win :-).

I do have an additional question to the analytics cookies. I have the script with the GTM-MNKF2CF from the tag manager running but also the script with the G-TH1FJ7E38G inside the theme. You can see them in the source code on lines 709 to 717.

So using your solution will it block both before consent?

Thanks for getting back to me on this. I have marked it as allowed :-).

I thought it was a weird warning seeing as the code doesn’t seem to be dangerous.

I solved it in the end by overwriting all plugins with new files.

I am sure it doesn’t make a difference but it’s not Limit Login Attempts that is being used but Limit Login Attempts Reloaded https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/limit-login-attempts-reloaded/ which is up-to-date.

But I will remove it and try again :-).
