In reply to: errors with versions above 3.6.0It is certainly a bit of a “weird one” that. Off the top of my head I would say it is possibly the errant plugin interfering with a loop counter variable in the admin template, the plugin author would be best placed to sort that out – I would be interested to hear what the solution is when you find out!

In reply to: Which plugin to use for e-Commerce?Personally, I would use WooCommerce – even though you only have one product it does have all the cart, checkout, order management and paypal integration stuff there for you and it of course it is free! You don’t necessarily have to have a whole shop page with product listing etc. You can just create a static page which just displays your product details, photos etc and of course the order button!
Hope this helps.Martin

In reply to: errors with versions above 3.6.0Hi Tim,
Unfortunately the YouTube link is not working so I can’t actually see the problem that you are having there.
The usual first thing to try is to deactivate all your plugins and see if the problem goes away. If it does then reactivate each plugin in turn (I usually start with the most critical ones first) and test the site after each reactivation until the problem reappears – then you know which plugin is causing the problem.
You don’t say which theme you are using, it might help to know that, and also whether it is a customized child theme. You might try swapping the theme for the default theme and see if that changes anything.
Hope this helps get you a bit further along. Let me know if you need any further assistance.Martin

In reply to: [Photo Book] Slider in Photo BookFrom what I can see, the idea is that it picks up the Featured Image from each of your blog posts. It arranges thumbnails below and a slider above. You set the Front Page option to show your blog posts and then add a post for each image you want to display. When you click on the thumbnails it takes you to the post.
I hope this helps!Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: [Customizr] Problem with Logo & top barTommy,
Just posted a suggestion but noted that you now have a much better answer while I was working on it!As for taking the credits out, I would check the terms of the GPL. With open source products it is always important to ensure that the original designer keeps some credit, they don’t tend to earn anything from the product itself apart from kudos and altruistic donations so its nice to link back to them in the footer.

In reply to: Add borders for specific sidebar imagesAh OK, that will be a bit of a problem, I can only give support here for the www.ads-software.com free themes and plugins. I’m sorry but you will have to get in touch with their support people. If you ever decide to come back to www.ads-software.com we are here for you!
You can do this by modifying the css in the Base.css file but I would strongly advise you to create a Child Theme first before changing anything.
When you have created the child, add this to the style.css file.p { margin-bottom: 10px; }
you can modify the 10px to whatever spacing you want between paragraphs.
You could also try using h3 tags around your subheads rather than p and strong.
Hope this helpsForum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Customizr] Problem with Logo & top barHave you created a child theme for this yet? If not any changes to the css will get overwritten if the theme is updated. It is also useful to be able to get back to a clean starting point after experimenting!

In reply to: Dividing Rows and Columns so background visibleHi,
If you add the following to your child theme .css style file:#wrapper { background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); } .panel { Background: #ffffff; padding: 10px; }
that should give you what you want. You can change the #ffffff to what ever color you want, if brilliant white isn’t quite right!
Hope this helpsMartin

In reply to: Add borders for specific sidebar imagesHi Ryan,
Can you tell me which Theme you are using please. Also, if you are going to make changes it is advisable to create a child theme to make the changes to. That way, they won’t get overwritten if the parent theme gets updated.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Looking for a pluginHi,
Hope I have interpreted this correctly. Your client could create mini blog posts describing the work, pictures etc. he’s done. Then
you could probably use “Geolocate My Posts” (or you could just put a postcode in as a tag) and set up a custom search filter which only showed posts according to Postcode/Zip. You could add tags for job type too so you could then have several pages devoted to different job types. If you have woocommerce installed you could also put a “do this for me too” order product link in. If its a big company doing hundreds of jobs a day this may be a bit unweildly!
Hope this helps.
