Actually, I found this article you linked and tried the code, but I guess I must have copied it wrong, because it didn’t work for me.

Instead I found a solution to my problem with this very lightweight plugin: Remove CPT Base.

Why don’t you give it a go and see if this works for you, as well?

The url is currently “under construction”, so I will just try to explain to you the issue better.

Catch Foodmania, like many other catch themes, has a featured slider option. It uses the featured images of the pages a person chooses for the slider. The designated parameters for the images in the slider are 1920x1080px. However, when I put images this size they are automatically zoomed in, pixelated, or rendered badly, in general.

I also tried to set different sizes for the images, but to no avail. Do you think a different size image will fit better or I should try changing something in the theme code?
