In reply to: [WooCommerce PayPal Pro Payment Gateway] Amexjavied, yes, it worked. We got in touch with PayPal and they walked us through the steps needed to get the card accepted. They said that it wasn’t unusual to have the problem with Amex. Everything’s been working fine now for the last couple of weeks.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Products Per Page] on the new divi theme it does not work at allNeed to correct what I said above. I did find the functions.php file in the Divi theme right where it belongs. But in the child theme, there are only 5 files in total. None of them a functions.php file.
Sorry for the confusion.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Products Per Page] on the new divi theme it does not work at allI just ran into this problem, too, that is, that WCPPP is not working with my Divi theme (using a child theme). I see the fix provided by Jeroen, above. However, being such a relative novice, I just needed to check, where does that code go? I got the idea that it goes in a functions.php file. Is that right?
When I just used the file manager in my cPanel, I could not find a functions.php file in the child theme. I fact, I couldn’t find it in the Divi theme either. I probably just don’t know where to look.
Or does it go somewhere else?
Thanks for you help.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] WP SEO and bbPress Incompatibility? Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, however, this didn’t do the trick for me the way it did for you. I tried it a couple of time. I’d turn the plugin off and try it then turn it on and try it but it’s still following the pattern I mentioned in my post.
Again, thanks for the suggestion.
Anyone else have any ideas?
TIA,

In reply to: [Theme My Login] WordPress generated password being sentThanks for the response, Jeff. I was able to take care of the toolbar question with a plugin I found that hides it automatically for everyone other than the people with admin privileges or whatever class you want.
I went back to the custom emails module and got the problem straightened out.
Thanks again, Martin.

In reply to: New Users See ToolbarThanks so much, Pioneer Valle Web Design. I appreciate the information. I will read the article and learn something. In the meantime I was able to find a plugin, called Global Hide Toolbar that does the trick.
But if the article shows me how to do that without another plugin, then I’ll go that route.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Theme My Login] WordPress generated password being sentThings have changed since I wrote the above. After fooling around a bit, now what happens is that the new subscriber gets the email I generate through TML with a link to confirm and log in.
He additionally gets an email from WP, but this time it doesn’t have the generated password but the actual password that the subscriber entered when registering.
Is there a setting I”m not seeing in order to prevent that?
Also, when a new subscriber logs in, the toolbar at the top of the page is visible. Does that have anything to do with TML or is that a different issue?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Twenty Fourteen] Scrolling Double PageIt turned out that I had accidently deleted the header picture when cleaning out my media on the site. That’s what caused this strange double page thing. When I re-added the picture everything was OK again.

In reply to: [Twenty Fourteen] Getting rid of "Leave a Reply"CMSHelpLive, that sure did the trick. Thanks so much. It really wasn’t a very intuitive place for me to go. It makes sense once you know because it is page specific, but I assumed there was a global setting.
Anyway, thanks so much for the help. I appreciate it.
