It’s been up for about a month now, and I’ve not found any other issues.

Let them know that the customizer is not working….I’m assuming it did before?

Honestly, I had not worked with the colors before this when I decided I wanted a slightly different background color for the menu dropboxes.

I think this is the cause of your problems, in relation to the host setup and transfer (moving) the site. Either something happened when they moved the site, or the WordPress files got corrupted somehow.

The site has been up for a month or so without any other issues that I’ve found.

My hosting company installed it and set up a beta site for me to build the website while I got the domain and information from the old site to the new hosting and new site. When I had everything ready, I closed the old site, we moved the domain to the new hosting company and then they transferred the new site I just built out of the beta address to what you see now in the link above.

Actually, about four posts up, we talked about trying a different theme, and I did try the 2016 one, with no change.

If there is an issue with the WP, would it possibly be fixed by an update? I can’t remember if there has been an update since I started this thread, but if an update could fix it (and there hasn’t been one in the interim), then I may wait for the next update and see what happens….I don’t really know that much about the WP installation to go mucking about with it.

Just an update…..I turned off plugins and no matter what was turned off, the issue did not change. I’m out of ideas, so I guess I’ll just use the default colors. At least the default scheme is close to our business colors, though it would have been nice to just darken the background of some specific things.

Sorry it took so long to reply, I’ve been out of town. Thanks for the instructions. If I find an incompatible plugin (I have very few on this particular site), I will post back here and let you know which it is for future reference.

I installed 2016 and went to customization > colors and I have the same issue with that theme, too. None of them brought up a color selector.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

That is correct. When I clicked on ANY of the customization links, no color selector appears on anything. I went to the help page for the Longevity theme and the images on that page shows what is supposed to happen (a color selector popup) but that does not happen when I choose one of the options to customize.
