I also got an error when updating a client’s site. First time, too. The specific message was:
“The authenticity of WordPress-5.3-new-bundled.zip could not be verified as no signature was found.” with a message that the installation failed.

I checked the front end and the site seemed to be working (thankfully since it’s a high-traffic site).

I then went to the dashboard and was instructed to update the database (click) and did so. When I reloaded the dashboard the site was indeed working 5.3.

Anyway, it’s a mystery.

I just am experiencing the same problem with the latest release of the plugin. How did you resolve it?

Ok, I’ve resolved the problem. If you use ElegantThemes, you need to update your theme to the latest version. The Q and A then will work properly. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem – the plugin now only shows 5 faqs on the page. I’ve just updated to WP 3.5.1 and the latest qa update. I’ve been using the plugin for awhile, and it always worked great. Now, it only displays 5 faqs. I’ve set the options properly and double checked. BTW, I’m using Elegantthemes on my site.
