In reply to: Navigation :IE7 browser can not display correctlyI can’t put it better than Otto in a very similar thread:
And while I don’t think we’ve officially dropped IE7 support, we should. IE7 is a fundamentally insecure browser, and it cannot be fixed. Upgrading to IE8 (or preferably 9/10) is the only way to continue to browse the web relatively safely.

In reply to: [Ultimate TinyMCE] TinMCE buttons not displayedHonestly, I’m not going to go through the trouble for the troubleshooting methods you’ve mentioned.
In that case, there’s not much I (or anyone else for that matter) can do to help you. Good luck to you.

In reply to: [Ultimate TinyMCE] TinMCE buttons not displayedDid you try the usual trouble-shooting methods:
1. Disabling all plugins except UTMCE, and
2. Revert your theme to WP’s default theme?
Also, did you check for errors in the console inside the post editing page, i.e., where the editor is supposed to be appearing?
A screenshot of that page would help a lot.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ultimate TinyMCE] TinMCE buttons not displayedHi Distiple,
Did you make sure to check the checkboxes next to the buttons you wish to enable? If so, do you get any errors, warnings or notices on your dashboard or on your browser’s console when inside the WP post editing page? In order to see your console, you need to right click anywhere on the page, click on “inspect element” and then, on the pop up that comes up, open the Console tab.
If you see any errors in there please paste them here. Thanks!

In reply to: Widgets admin in IE7Amen, Otto!
Why would anyone stick to IE7 (be it companies, IT departments or users) is beyond me.
Esmi, I’m guessing jQuery UI is the culprit here, but AFAIK, support has been recently (version 1.10) dropped for IE6. Couldn’t find anything about IE7.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ultimate TinyMCE] Ultimate TinyMCE Simple Press settingsHello, chlupac.
We’ve had other users reporting problems while using Simple-Press and UTMCE together.
Here’s how the last user who reported this problem fixed it, in his own words:Seems like it is working now. Both Ultimate TinyMCE and Simple-Press Rich Text editor is working together. I removed the “code” button, then soon after that, I reinstalled the Rich Text editor and BAM, it all works.
That’s pretty much all I got. I think the folks over at Simple-Press might be able to assist you better with the SP settings-related stuff, so I’m gonna tag this post so that they see it.

In reply to: Remove the "W" and all its links & menus alongHi Joseph,
You are very welcome!
It is always good to know proposed solutions worked for other users as well.
Cheers!Hi there.
The Column Shortcodes feature is designed so that column widths are proportional (relative) to the size of the page, which means they will shrink and grow with the page or window size.
If you need your columns to pile up vertically in mobile, you would have to do something like this:/* For mobile displays only */ @media only screen and (max-width: 480px) { .jwl_one_half, .jwl_one_third, .jwl_two_third, .jwl_three_fourth, .jwl_one_fourth, .jwl_one_fifth, .jwl_two_fifth, .jwl_three_fifth, .jwl_four_fifth, .jwl_one_sixth, .jwl_five_sixth { width: auto!important; } }
I hope that helps!

In reply to: [Ultimate TinyMCE] Excellent support, but a temporary problem with the pluginI understand your frustration, but you have to bear in mind this is a 100% free plugin, and yes, it will fail from time to time. What makes this particular plugin trustworthy is that we have (if I may say so myself) outstanding support, so issues will always be fixed and users “cared for”.
As to your rating, WP lets you modify them at will, since they feel it’s a good way to motivate devs and users to reach an understanding in these matters.
Have a good day.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ultimate TinyMCE] Dashboard menu disappearsNo pb, Thanks.

In reply to: [Ultimate TinyMCE] Excellent support, but a temporary problem with the pluginEight minutes. That’s the amount of time between your request for support here:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/dashboard-menu-disappears?
and your bad review.
But this plugin doesn’t seem to be the only victim of your impatience, since you have done the exact same thing for the following plugins:
Web invoice
wp-hover
Menu Master Custom Widget
etc.
I guess actions speak louder than reviews.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ultimate TinyMCE] Dashboard menu disappearsHello, there. I think this was already fixed. Did you try redownloading UTMCE and overwrite your existing copy?

In reply to: [Ultimate TinyMCE] Script running with this plugin sending spamHi.
What is this crap here that your script is trying to open?
It’s not “crap”: it’s a list of urls for the “Support the dev” feature, which is completely opt-in and can be disabled.
There’s nothing spammy about it.
In the future, please refrain from using foul language when asking people for help.
Thanks!Hello, servev.
I don’t know if it’s legal, but I think it is very dirty.
Whaich aspect do you think is “dirty”? It is just a link to support the authors. Not only can it be disabled at any moment from the Admin Options panel, but it is also
off
by default when you first install the plugin, so, it is a completely opt-in feature in lines with the plugin guidelines.
If you are referring to the fact that the link is only visible to search engines, that is because we did not want to unnecessarily bother users. However, the setting explicitly mentions this in its description:Gives credit to the developer in form of a hidden link.
If you don’t wish to support us, you can simply disable the option if you already enabled it. We won’t mind at all! ??
Let us know if there’s anything else you need.
Thanks!
