Actually, I figured out the issue with the shortcodes… it seems that my Make Plus plugin got de-activated (maybe during the update?) and never got re-activated. However, I still have the same issue with those headers… they appear NOT bold (incorrect) when viewing blog archive pages, but they appear BOLD (correct) on individual blog posts.

I am having a similar issue since the update… H1 doesn’t appear to be the correct font anymore. What’s worse, all my shortcodes are broken. ??

@fb2ts, thanks for that update! No, I do NOT have Jetpack installed.

That is interesting how so few others are having this problem… I wonder if it’s a plugin incompatibility of some sort? Or maybe it’s just one of those problems that few people tend to notice, even if they have it?

The plugin theory is a bit tough to test, otherwise I would have tried disabling all my plugins. Maybe we could compare notes instead, and see if we have any plugins in common?

@fb2ts, good to know I’m not the only one! As of today, several months after the issue started happening (I think around the same timeframe as you indicated), I am still experiencing the same problem. Annoying that no one seems to be able to offer any solutions, or even an explanation as to what is causing it.

Yes, I am using Akismet… everything there looks normal, with no false positives.

Hi Blade! Yes, she has used the same email address every time, although the IP address is sometimes different. I don’t have any blacklisted email addresses in the Discussion Settings.

I would like to know the same thing! Let me know if you’ve found a solution.

Thanks Aaron! I now have a .htaccess file with the code above but, unfortunately, it didn’t work. Any other ideas?

P.S. I also tried deleting the .htaccess file, setting the permalinks to default, and then setting them back to “month and name”. Still no go.

Thank you both for your replies! It seems I don’t have an .htaccess file. Weird, because I thought I used to have one… When I log off my user, the pages with this permalink with my username attached to it look exactly the same.

Yes, I tried submitting my problem to the official Studiopress Support but they told me that, since it would require a modification of my theme, they cannot help me. They sent me instead to the community forums at studiopress.com/forums, but a response is not guaranteed and so far I have not had any.

I understand your difficulty as well… I guess I just feel like someone who understands php might be able to figure out a way for me to get this done. I have almost zero knowledge of php, so that is why I am struggling. Of course, if it really does require more knowledge of Genesis, then I will just keep trying on the Studiopress community forums…
