Thank you for your prompt and helpful response. I updated from 3.1.4 to 3.1.6, purged cache then tried again and I was still able to produce the issue. It’s happening when I create a brand new post and try to submit it for revision from there.
The brand new post method is the latest one I’ve found that produces the issue. There are other ways I’ve produced this issue in the past; I’ll have to revisit my notes and find/retry those previous methods on 3.1.6 too. Maybe those are solved but the new post issue still happens for me on 3.1.6.
