Unfortunately, it is giving me lots of errors (for every line of the xml) file. I installed my WP folder in a subdirectory: https://www.paintinggroup.com/wp – however, I followed instructions to fix the index file and .htaccess file to point to the correct permalink structure. I think that has something to do with all those errors. I had to end up using google xml sitemaps instead of Yoast’s SEO plugin. Any advice or am I doing something wrong?
@scrambler: I also just manually added the sitemap by submitting the name of the file itself and the webmaster tool found 65 errors. Did you have this same problem with installing your sitemap manually? How did you do it?

In reply to: Slow loadingOh I see. I will read up and learn more about sprites. I also have enabled the following options within w3 Total Cache: 1) page cache, 2) minify, 3) database cache, 4) Object cache, 5) browser cache. Anything else I should enable or disable?

In reply to: Slow loadingVery interesting. I didn’t even know that site existed. Unfortunately, I am not familiar on how to solve the “high” or “medium” priority requests. I am hoping w3 total cache will be able to do most of that. I did notice that a lot of the files are theme files and I don’t really wanna mess with those. Any other suggestions?

In reply to: Slow loadingwell, i changed the index.php file in my root directory. I didn’t want that to happen, but my wp folder is installed in a subdirectory. That is another issue I need to deal with in the future, however…even if you click on my link from a google search “painting group atlanta” it still takes awhile. I just installed and set up the plugin “w3 Total cache” and it has seemed to help.

In reply to: Slow loadingSo there isn’t much I can do via my current setup? How easy is it to port the folder over? Just update everything and then just copy paste the wp folder in my root directory at the new hosting site?

In reply to: Fatal error: Maximum execution time…Yep…but it’s so random. It doesn’t happen sometimes, and now today all the sudden, it’s doing it a lot more.
