In reply to: [MailPoet Newsletters (Previous)] How many posts are sent in automatic modeHi ritzeng, thank you for your answer but, apparently, I do not have this number to modify. It may depend on the WP release I am using. I will try to update and see if it works. Thank you, Massimo
Hi there. Thank you for your answer. On “other pages” it was none. I changed to “my-bookings” and it’s now working. In my previous installation I did nothing in this area so the problem (I think) was born because of my assumption that the system had set the right page. Thank you again for your help, Massimo
Hi there, thank you for your question. When you have made a reservation (and you are logged in) at the end of the “event page” there is a link to your reservations. The link generated by the system refer to the xxx/eventi/my-bookings where (at installation time I think) the system generated a xxx/eventi/le-mie-prenotazioni. So the “eventi/my-bookings is not found. I generated manually the xxx/eventi/my-bookings child page but it does not work correctly since the “CONTENTS” remain a simple word and is not read by the plugin to find the reservations for the person. Thank you, Massimo
Hi there, thank you for your question. The answer is no. I rely on the Italian version of WordPress and I do not use translation plugin. Thank you, Massimo

In reply to: [Ginger - EU Cookie Law] Strange behaviour on iPhone and iPadHi there. I followed your advice both reducing the wording and the font size. It works much better and, on iPhone, the “Accetta e chiudi” is shown so to allow the user action. I woud consider the incident as closed. Thank you for all your support and suggestions. Massimo

In reply to: [Ginger - EU Cookie Law] Strange behaviour on iPhone and iPadHi there. I will answer here to both manafactory and Jan.
To manafactory: thank you. I didn’t understand your previous answer but now I added the line you suggested to your plugin in the appropriate area and it works on iPad and MacBook Air: the popup is resized. It does not work on iPhone. As before the popup is to big and disappear all alone in few seconds. On iPhone I use Safari.To Jan. Why I used the word unfair: if you mange several sites and decide to use Ginger you will have to modify all sites to correct a behaviour that can be corrected at the origin, IMHO. To me, always IMHO, this is similar to the wrong EU Cookie law: it forces the change of million of sites all around Europe instead of asking the “browser” to do so. That was the reason for my wording.
Thank you, MassimoForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ginger - EU Cookie Law] Strange behaviour on iPhone and iPadHi there. I will try but I do not consider this the right solution. You ask to modify a user file instead of changing the plugin to adapt to different environment. This action shoul be repeated for all the sites I manage. Unfair. Thank you, Massimo

In reply to: [Ginger - EU Cookie Law] Strange behaviour on iPhone and iPadHi there. I have the same problem/behavior on a MacBook Air. To me, it seems related to the dimensions of the screen/window. If the popup does not fit, it gets truncated, the “accept” button will not appear and the popup itself disappear in a few seconds. Two solutions, in my opinion, let it scroll or reduce its size (it’s too big anyway). Thank you, Massimo

In reply to: Twenty Eleven menu bar color@[email protected]
Hi, I followed Kurt suggestions to find where to change color. You should create a child-theme that would be the best solution to make changes to the theme. If you are in a hurry there is the “dirt” solution: change the style.css file in your wp directory. You have to find the lines where the /* Menu …. */ appears and change the colors as you may need. I did it this way:
/* =Menu
————————————————————– */#access {
background: #BA232A /* #222 original changed by Massimo*/; /* Show a solid color for older browsers */
background: -moz-linear-gradient (##BA232A, ##A1232A);/*(#252525, #0a0a0a); */
background: -o-linear-gradient (##BA232A, ##A1232A);/*(#252525, #0a0a0a); */
background: -webkit-gradient(linear, 0% 0%, 0% 100%, from(##BA232A), to(##A1232A)); /* older webkit syntax */
background: -webkit-linear-gradient(##BA232A, ##A1232A);———————-
Leave the following lines as they are. I strongly suggest to make a backup copy of your style.css file BEFORE making any changes. Apply the changes and replace the original file. It should work. Be careful.

In reply to: Twenty Eleven menu bar colorKurt, thank you very much for your answer. Very clear. I am testing so I changed the style.css file and the menu bar now appears as I like. I plan to create a child theme to make things cleaner and easier to maintain. I learned a lot so thank you again, Massimo.

In reply to: [Events Calendar] [Plugin: Events Calendar] European style dates inputHi Penelope, I am sorry but I do not have an answer for you and I didn’t hear from development. Thank you, Massimo
Joe, thank you very much. We followed your suggestion, wp-to-twitter appeared on our plugins list and I was able to activate it. Our site is now happily twitting. Thank you again for your help and suggestions, ciao Massimo
Joe, thanks again. We have a main site (https://www.associazioneamuse.it/) and WordPress is installed on the server running the main site in a proper folder. We also registered the address of the WordPress site (https://www.romaduenews.it/) and our provider reroutes people asking for the latter to the correct folder of the main site. I hope this is understandable (not sure about the terminology) and answers your question. I am sorry but all sites are in Italian. Thanks, Massimo
