I really don’t understand your question. I tried to run it on a wordpress blog by adding onto a page a link of a video file from dropbox. I urgently needed it so now I just bought a vimeo plus account and everything is sorted. However, since many people may have the same sort of problem, and you says that your player can work with dropbox as server, why don’t you write here step by step how a user can stream a video from dropbox to a wordpress blog? It’s important to specify the parameters for the mp4 file.

That would be really helpful for many users and time effective for you instead of answering threads with the same sort of issue.

I am using the dropbox link. Basically I did the following:
– I converted the video from vob(dvd) to mp4 container with ACC and h.264 format.
– I uploaded onto my dropbox account.
– I took the link of the video on dropbox.
– I added a new page on wordpress
– I clicked on “add media”, external media, pasted the link and insert in jwplayer
– Tried to view the page and after some seconds of loading, I got the error.

What’s wrong?

Come on Tasko – That’s not what I was asking for. The homepage is not available within the the group of pages an user creates. To insert an image onto homepage should be something available in the setting of the theme as many others. If I use a static page as homepage, I will need to change the code as the image will be too far from the top menu. I need to hide the entry-title and then reduce the space between the image and the menu.

Yes it is – Of course the goal can be achieved by some workarounds but I think it would be nice to have that. It attracts more people when everything is ready to go I guess.

Mike – thanks for your imput but as per my post, I understood why it does not work. I was asking for something else now to make your plugin work.

I may have understood why it does not work. My wordpress and site url is the following:
Wordpress URL: https://www.ultimech.com/wordpress
Website URL: https://www.ultimech.com

If I move my wordpress folder to the root, may everything work properly?

You need to go to footer.php of your wp touch plugin and remove the following code:

Ok – I give up. I kept saying that it is NOT analytical any more.

In which theme forum should I post it? It is not analytical anymore as I have changed it completely.

I don’t understand – I completely modified the theme and now it is another theme. Why should the author answer? My question is the basic of php development and nothing to do with theme. Also why should author give me support if they are interested in selling the pro version? I would not be interested in buying the pro version as it does not meet my requirements.
