This issue was because the wordpress site url had www in it and the url which was in admin dint had www or vice versa. the solution to this problem is before authenticating with twitter, just update your url in the tweet old post settings page and update the setting first then try to authenticate with twitter.
Hope this helps
Hey thanks for the comment and explaining the issue. I had to use the admin_init as it was causing conflict with google analytics plugin. They have admin_init in their code, so when ever request came to wordpress from twitter which had oauth_token in it, the page used to redirect to google analytics plugin page. I am currently looking for an alternative for it, although i dint had much time to look into this lately. Do lemme know if you have any alternative solution for this issue, I would definitely incorporate that. Thanks again.
Can you try on some other browser and see what error message they give. One of the common problem is too many redirects its solution is there in the FAQ. Please check that and lemme know if it solves your problem.
Guys checkout the FAQ for too many redirects issue. Let me know if you still face the issue after following those steps in FAQ.
@sarah can you send me the log.txt file from the root of tweet old post plugin folder
Can anyone give me access to the wp admin? I am not able to replicate this issue. It would be really helpful if someone could just allow me to see in their wp-admin as to what’s happening.
update your setting once and then try to authorize your twitter account
Does it says to many redirects?
update your setting once and then try to authorize your twitter account

It’s difficult for me to replicate it. I am not able to replicate this issue. If any one can give me access to their site i might get a solution for the problem.
I dint understood this, can you please give me an example.
@richg11 thanks :-). will work on permanent solution for this issue ?? thanks and cheers
I checked this issue, when tweet old post goes for twitter for authentication, twitter authenticates and returns with oauth_token, when we include the oauth_token in the URL it is getting redirected to google analytics for wordpress plugin.
For time being to make it work
– disable google analytics for wordpress
– authorize tweet old post with twitter
– enable google analytics for wordpressGoogle analytics for wordpress is causing the issue i got that replicated on my side too working on it maybe will release an update by this weekend.
Thank you so much guys for your support,
cheersThanks guys i’ll check that out thanks once again ??
