In reply to: [Polylang] Website stuck to one languageI’ve been having the same issue (not sure about the incognito) but with my French/English website https://www.matildamarseillaise.com for years. No one ever answered by support post years ago asking how to fix it.
Sometimes it will default to the /fr page and the only way to get to the English version is to click on the title of a post and then once that loads click on the language switcher.
I’d also love to know why it happens and if there is a way to fix it.
Best of luck.
Hi,
Essentially having the same issue here – I had hoped that the mail outs would go to subscribers only for the language they subscribed in.
Do we have a solution to this problem? I would like to avoid my readers ending up with 2 emails per new post.

In reply to: [Polylang] Polylang Language Switcher stopped workingThanks Chrislopo. Sadly I have already deactivated the detect browser language setting and the problem still occurs, not always but still often enough to be annoying. I’m glad it worked for you though.

In reply to: [Polylang] Polylang Language Switcher stopped workingI seem to have narrowed it down that it is only happening on mobile. Not sure if it is a wordpress or a polylang issue. It seems to intermittently fix itself but then goes back to the same issue.
https://www.matildamarseillaise.com will load on a PC. But it will redirect to the https://www.matildamarseillaise.com/fr if anyone tries to load the https://www.matildamarseillaise.com on a mobile.
Any ideas?

In reply to: [Polylang] Polylang Language Switcher stopped workingAlso still happening after clearing cache, cookies etc.
The front page is defaulting to the /fr link and clicking on the AUS flag when on the home page simply reloads the FR.

In reply to: [Polylang] Polylang Language Switcher stopped workingIt is happening for people who have never visited the site, not just for me. The homepage is only showing in French, not English.
