You can also ping them. I use pingler to ping my links. It kinda speeds up the process for my sites.

I did not make the design and the layout for the website but a colleague of mine did. Thanks for the compliment by the way. Also, the designs were made from scratch as I’ve seen my colleague work on the design when we were still building it.
