In reply to: Removing all links from commentsSwansonPhotos,
Actually I just saw that a moment ago. At least that is an option to me if I can’t figure out how to do as Alchymyth suggested. Thanks for the help!

OK I’ll take a look. Not familiar with using FTP to access, but will give it a shot. Thanks!

In reply to: Removing all links from commentsSwanson,
Thank you, I had those settings set in my theme already.
The problem isn’t the posts themselves, because I have my blog set up already to moderate all posts. The problem is the link that is associated with the name of the people that post.
So, if you go to this page of my blog https://www.eseaweednutrition.com/seaweed-nutrition-lose-weight and scroll to the “Reply” area, then click on the name of the person who posted, which is “Suzi Levoci”, you will be taken to her page. So, I want to disable all links like that.

Thanks for responding.
I’m using the Delicate theme. I looked for the “cite class=”fn”…” line to change it but I can’t find it in the comments.php. Here is the actual code from the comment.php file. I’m using the Delicate Theme:
[code moderated - use the pastebin for any code over the forum limit of 10 lines]

In reply to: Removing "Posted By" in posts?Josh and Swanson,
I’m sorry, I’m still learning WordPress and I thought I could find where I need to put the ” .post small {display: none;}” code but I can’t find where to put it.
I know Josh mentioned adding it to my custom CSS but when I go into the editor in WordPress for the theme I’m using, the theme is called “Delicate”, I have no idea where to add the code.
Can you help me with this, I would really be thankful.

In reply to: Comments not Posting AutomaticallyThanks for the advice. I do have the “An administrator must always approve the comment” unticked. With the holiday weekend, I’m not sure if I had it unticked before people posted to my blog so I guess I’ll have to wait and see if the problem still occurs when someone posts a comment. I’ll let you know what happens. ??

In reply to: Comments not Posting AutomaticallyI unticked it and had someone send a test post. It shows that its ready for approval in the backend of WordPress but isn’t showing up on the blog post. I have not idea what I need to uncheck so posts are no longer moderated. I don’t see anything that is checked that says that all posts are moderated. Do you know or maybe you can list all areas I need to look at? because there has to be a checkbox or something somewhere that I’m missing.
Thank you for the help!

In reply to: Comments not Posting AutomaticallyI didn’t uncheck that box because I thought it was only to notify me if a comment is held for moderation but didn’t think it controlled actually holding comments for moderation? I’ll uncheck it and see what happens. Thank you for the help.

In reply to: Categories Not WorkingOK, I found a solution.
My concern was that readers that came to my site wouldn’t know to click on the heading of my posts so they could reply to it. So, the simple solution was to put a “more” tag in the post to prompt readers to click on it to read the rest of the post. Once they get to that page, the comment box is there. I just have to see about changing the font for the category page.
Thank you for taking the time to help.

In reply to: Categories Not WorkingHi Paul,
Thank you for helping.
How would I fix it so I could have just one post under any of my categories under, “Seaweed Nutrition Topics” and still have people comment on it? It seems a bit odd to me that I would have to create two posts under each category just so people can reply to my first post? Do you know a work around for this?
I really appreciate your help.

In reply to: Having problems with the title h1 tagThank you Sid! That worked out great and thank you for the advice.
Could you recommend a good book for a novice like me so I can get a handle on this stuff? Or maybe there’s a website that teaches this?
