That fixed it.
Thanks!
Thanks for the reply @champsupertramp
I tried that just now and it had no effect.
I’ve also tried:
– 1
– Yes
– Check
– CheckedNothing has resulted in the box being checked by default. Any assistance is appreciated.
So I ran the conflict test and it looks like the “Popup Maker” plugin is causing a conflict. After deactivating it, password setup and reset are working fine.
Now I just have to find a replacement for my popup login form.
Thanks for the help.
Hey @champsupertramp,
Thanks for the reply. I tried logging in with the email address and got the same result. The error message even associated the correct username with the email address. The site is: https://book-flash.com
It’s not live yet but I’ll turn off under construction for now if anyone has time to look at it.
Thanks!

In reply to: [WP-Members Membership Plugin] Customize form styleThanks for the response.
I followed your instructions and found the correct style sheet (there’s 20 of them listed in the html. Is that a problem?). It also loads in the browser, so it’s loading correctly.
Is there a next step? Could my theme or elementor be overriding the css?
Thx

In reply to: Can’t access site or WP LoginHi. The domain is not valid because it’s on a localhost.
I found the problem though. I had to go into my db and disable all plugins.
Then fixed the domain prefix in the db that I adjusted just before killing the site.
Back in business.

In reply to: Clarification on My account loginHappy to help.
Unfortunately, which plugin isn’t a simple question to answer. A lot depends on which theme you’re using and what features you want for users and admin purposes.
You can search the wp plugin area for login or member and the results will describe features they offer. Try a few out and see where you get. Just make sure you backup your site first. Having too many plugins installed can case problems. So just try one at a time.
I would also try searching YouTube for vids on your theme. Include the keywords user login. Also, as a beginner I’ve gotten some good info off of https://www.wpbeginner.com
Hope that points you in the right direction. Good luck!

In reply to: Clarification on My account loginI’m fairly new to this but have built my first site. I think that’s the only login that come with WP out of the box. If you want a front end login screen you’ll need a plugin.
