There was a new version release yesterday 3.2.0 which should fix this issue.

I think it was cause by a name conflict with other(s) Mailchimp-related plugin(s).

@dramtech thank you for your comment. You are not doing anything wrong. It is unfortunately just not possible to exclude campaigns from new imports as of today ??

FYI I am working on a premium version of this plugin which will provide this feature (and more).

There is no other version than Maichimp API v3 for now.

We will definitely consider adding SendGrid and maybe other email marketing providers in future releases.

What have you tried to debug/fix the situation so far?

If timeouts (re)appear after updating to 3.1.5, I suggest you to downgrade to previous versions where it was working better.

I have absolutely no availabilities right now to work on this project…

What I can say is that this issue will surely be solved when we can implement a new process for importation.

It seems you are having the “Page not found” issue after import.

This issue with timeout was previsible.
I think you already comment on another thread about it.

Could you please open a separated bug for your “timeout issue”?

Hi guys, thank you for your message and sorry for the inconvenience.
I have fixed this limit of 10 campaigns on import.

I am currently doing a new release 3.1.5 which should appear very soon in your WordPress dashboard.

It will load ALL campaigns again, so please be patient while we talk to the Chimp… and don’t forget you might encounter timeout during the process (this issue is not fixed yet).

I understand the issue which I try to rephrase and answer below.

Issues

• This plugin try to bulk import all campaigns at once, one by one.
• This plugin only import the 10 first found campaigns

Suggested solution

• Display the list of existing campaigns in a table in the WP admin interface.
• Add the action for users to select and import only specific campaigns.

When these two new feature are in place, it should improve efficiency quite a bit ??

@rehmeyer a new release 3.1.4 is out there.

It should fix your issue or at least, print errors in the back office so you will know what’s going on before, during or after import.

@craigroyt you are having issues with bulk import. This can be cause by a wide variety of issues…

What do you see in your application logs? (PHP errors basically).
Also, have you tried it again with 3.1.3?
Same issue (frozen/timeout)?

@rehmeyer regarding #1 could you please try to update to latest version 3.1.3?
There have been small but good improvement on the import process.

Regarding #2 Merge tags can not be rendered when retrieving Mailchimp campaigns programatically.

Can you elaborate how you think this should be displayed?

FYI, there is no way to retrieve a campaign populated with a default user.
