In reply to: [MailChimp Campaigns] WP 5 compliancyHi @arjunmr
When you disable and delete the plugin form WordPress admin UI, there is already a function which delete all related data (so to say, options and imported Newsletters).Starting from scratch is therefore as easy as 1) disable and remove the plugin, 2) reinstall it and 3) reimport your campaigns.
To answer your question, as I said right above :
I’ve tested the plugin again on a fresh WordPress 5.x installation.
Everything works as expected.
I didn’t need to edit anything critical in code. Also, this plugin is already using Mailchimp API 3.0. So, nothing critical on this end neither.May I suggest you to open a new support thread to explain your issue?
I think this current thread is resolved.

In reply to: [MailChimp Campaigns] Import not completeing and shortcode not working@seorichard @markwest2016 sorry for the delay in answering this thread.
A new version
3.1.2
with very small bugfixes have been released. It might fix issues you were both having althought I suspect failures during import to be related with hosting environment rather than Mailchimp Campaigns plugin itself.
I’ll mark this topic as resolved but please feel free to open a new one after your tests.

In reply to: [MailChimp Campaigns] Whole Article is not being shown@bwilks sorry for the delay in answering you.
I do not want to duplicate code.
I have tested @jcexygy module and it works great:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/bypass-iframe-height-limit/#descriptionIt is a good thing to have small plugins doing small things, and doing it well ??

In reply to: [MailChimp Campaigns] WP 5 compliancyHi @agencecoccinet,
I have created a new WordPress 5.0.3 website and reinstall the plugin from scratch. I can import my campaigns and I can see it correctly with the use of the custom shortcode.
I do not have any issue using this plugin.
@agencecoccinet Would you kindly describe what is the issue you havee?
I don’t think this plugin have any issue with WordPress 5.0.3 and will actually tag it as tested soon

In reply to: [MailChimp Campaigns] Doesn’t workHi @cuakevinlex.
Thank you for testing our this plugin.
What version of WordPress are you trying to install the plugin on?

In reply to: [MailChimp Campaigns] Import not completeing and shortcode not workingHi @seorichard
Nope, unfortunately I still haven’t had the time to debug these issues. To answer @markwest2016 :
it is not possible to dynamically pull a campaign by simply adding the embed shortcode in a post. It however sounds like a really good idea for a future release ?? I take note of it!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MailChimp Campaigns] Whole Article is not being shownAh ok ?? I though you were creating another Mailchimp-related plugin… It now makes sense that you created a specific plugin to bypass the iframe’s height.
I’d recommend users to download your plugin to bypass the height limitation.
It’s better to have specific plugins for specific needs ??
Thanks for your effort. Hopefully it will solve the issue for everyone!

In reply to: [MailChimp Campaigns] Whole Article is not being shownHi @jcexygy thanks for your message.
Why have you done another plugin rather than applying a patch on this existing one? ?? IMO, it would be better to offer a solution to all existing users rather than to have to install a new plugin.
Where can I see your code?
I’d like to fix this issue too.

In reply to: [MailChimp Campaigns] Whole Article is not being shownHi @bridieamelia.
I don’t think I actually can act on the iframe attribute much. It is generated by WordPress core JS script. Have you tried to add this attribute? Did it work? If yes, feel free to share the code ??I’ll have to find a sustainable way of acting on the iframe anyway otherwise we will need to embed MailChimp campaigns differenlty.
Sorry, typo in my previous message. My question was:
Could you please explain why think this module is only worth one single star?
Your rating is here:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/not-working-2620/It seems to be functional on your website – but not fully acceptable on front end because of WordPress embed limitations actually.

In reply to: [MailChimp Campaigns] How to embed into a post or page?hi @arjunmr
Thanks for trying out this plugin.
Unfortunately yes, the height limit of embed Newsletter is a known issue. I do not have workaround yet.
Also, I think you can customize the embed template and styles by creating a custom file (as explained here: https://www.ostraining.com/blog/wordpress/embed-theming/).

In reply to: [MailChimp Campaigns] Whole Article is not being shownHi @daelorn
Nop, unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a workaround yet (no time for contribution lately).
If anyone have any idea about how we could do to embed MailChimp campaigns with something else than the WordPress embed shortcode… I’m totally open to suggestions ??
I was thinking maybe 1) import campaigns, 2) save it as HTML in an actual file in WordPress files and 3) attach it to a the Newsletter content type.
This won’t actually solve the JS issue and the limitation of iframe… but at least we could use a custom template instead of being restricted to the core’s default used by the embed shortcode.
