In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Web P and image optmmm, ok yes i did optimise using a plug in after upload until recently. So might be an issue.
Do you think it might be possible to add a feature to just test a small amount of images to see everything works ok?
or even an option to only add the web p and not optimise the original image please?

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Web P and image optok thanks. Can i just check please…
if the images have already been optimised previously by imageoptim before upload BUT there is no longer any other image optimiser plug ins like smash active, could this still cause processing issues?
and to clarify, will the process create 3 extra images to download for each image and each image version i currently have on my server please?
I’m just thinking thats going to add an awful lot of extra storage space for the new files.
Is there a reason you need to send back the original files again, rather than just sending back the optimised one and the webp please?
Thanks again!

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Web P and image optok great, thanks Lisa! What i might have to do, is delete all of my old web p’s and then set up the optimisation with your plug in and recreate them all again.
Does your plug in optimise all different sizes of the images for the site, so for e.g. all the different thumbnail sizes?

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Web P and image optHey Eric and Lisa,
yes i have this in my htaccess…
### marker WEBP start ###
RewriteCond %{HTTP_ACCEPT} “image/webp”
RewriteRule .* – [E=Cache-Control:vary=%{ENV:LSCACHE_VARY_VALUE}+webp]
### marker WEBP end ###and yes my webp images are all in the same folders as my jpgs on the server.
so if i set up the image optimisation with your plug in, do i have to download all the 3 new images to my server to use or are they kept your end and loaded from there? and if so how does that work with my cdn please?
Am i right in saying the webp might not work because i have not set up image optimise with your plug in?
thanks

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Clean css/jsHey Lisa, ok thanks!
Ok yes so i have Minify and combine of both CSS and JS on. So when you say worst case scenario, whilst i restore them, do you mean i’d need to turn off the minify and combine whilst i do a file restore from the back up?
or is there another way to go backwards if something breaks please?
prefer not to have to do a full file restore (or would it just need a database restore please?)
Thanks

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Browser cache not workingok thanks! Can i confirm please, if i see this at the bottom of the page source…
<!– Page generated by LiteSpeed Cache 1.6.2.1 on 2017-11-10 15:43:38 –>
does that also show me browser caching is working please?
I’m just a bit lost why in the chrome console, in network if i look att he pages response headers its saying…
cache-control:no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate
and also
cache-control:max-age=0
Thanks!
MattHi Paul,
ok thanks. They are not in exactly the same, one is an add on domain. So two different domains, two different wordpress sites but on one account.
So the main domains wordpress is in the public_html/ folder.
the the add on domains site is in a folder that is with the public_html. so public_html/addondomain.com/
i guess my question is, can the firewall or other aspects of your plug on the main domain, that is in the main folder, clash with the firewall of the add on domain in the sub folder? (i know with word fence this is the case and i believe you are meant to install the add on domains firewall first, then the main domain after.) So just checking if i need to do that for Shield.
Thanks
MattFantastic, works like a treat!

In reply to: [Cache Enabler] Advanced featureHey Cody,
Sorry to chase, i just wondered if you might have an idea on why have my server cache set to…
RewriteRule .* – [E=Cache-Control:max-age=1209600]
is stopping Cache enabler from appearing on all pages expect for my homepage?
if i can just get cache enabler working along side my server cache, my site will really be rocking.
Thanks
MattExcellent thank you! great news
