What are the aspects you want to have under control that you cannot with Gutenberg?

Sorry to hear it’s still a frustrating experience for you. There are a few shortcuts for adding a heading: you can type ## on a new line followed by a space and it’d automatically convert to a heading; you can also type / and write “head…” to select a heading.

What do you mean it’s impossible to change the title of a page?

If the classic editor works for you, that’s wonderful! You should be able to continue using it for a long long time.

Sorry to hear this one feature you hate about WordPress. What would make you like it or tolerate it? Gutenberg is currently used by millions of people. Very very few reach this forum.

I’m not sure I follow the metaphor. Is Gutenberg being personified here?

Reviews are tiny tiny fraction of the users of Gutenberg which spans now millions of sites. But point taken! Curious what you find most horrible about it?

Ouch! Need to point out that there are many excellent deaf developers in the world.

Feedback is always taken into account by contributors in many different ways — through calls for testing, in person feedback, and reading thoughts from all over the world. WordPress is used by millions and millions of people. As you say, WordPress is about creativity and freedom to create. Care to elaborate on how that is reduced now? Would love to address that.

It does have drag and drop functionality. There are multiple ways to move blocks around — arrow movers, a “move to” feature, you can copy an entire block to relocate it, and there are drag handles in the block toolbar.
