In reply to: [Simple Statistics for Feeds] subscriber info filteringit was just a curiosity. I noticed that in the last two months I have many requests like this one:
Referrer: n/a
Request: https://xmau.com/wp/notiziole/2024/08/31/the-pleasures-of-pi-e-and-other-interesting-numbers/feed/
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/70.0.3538.102 Safari/537.36
(which at least for me doesn’t make sense: a feed for a single post is useless), and I would like to see whether there was a pattern. There are several different IP numbers, and the UA is a vanilla Microsoft Edge browser (but this means nothing). No worry, once I found out that there is no security treat I can live with this!

In reply to: [Social Engine: Schedule Social Media Posts] error in setting up twitterthank you for your answer! I am indeed still using PHP 7.4 because of other issues with my blog (probably I should first upgrade the theme… It’s not easy to have 20+ years of material!)
thanks again, .mau.

In reply to: [ActivityPub] cannot find author infoThank you! My .htaccess It was indeed placed in the wrong place (and the redirect was wrong, but *this* I could cope with).
Thanks again!

In reply to: show time of post together with datewas it that simple? ??
I looked at that section of settings, but since all examples of date used only a combination of Y/M/D I did not think of adding other formatting options.
Thanks a lot! .mau.

In reply to: invalid comment idThank you!
Since I am lazy, I stopped after the first paragraph and proceeded to deactivate all plugins (my blog does not have a lot of traffic, so it was not a problem) and found out that the culprit was Semantic-Linkbacks. I just posted there: but since I did not actually use that plugin, I just left it deactivate.I do have Health Check installed, and next time I will use it. Probably in this case it was useless, however, since the bug was triggered from messages received from a commenter and so I had to work with the live blog!
Thanks again, .mau.
