Thanks, but I do hope that you reconsider the response.
As it now operates the Subject line in the subscription email consists of 77 chars Forum Title followed by the Topic title. For most email clients the Forum title fills the available column width forcing one to scroll each entry to read the topic!A screenshot shows the significant difference in readability between the old and the new.
In my case, the production site remains on v3.7.1 pending a stable version being testable on my staging site. Reviewing new issues is essential in helping make that call?
Thanks,I did try de-activating the plugin without deleting it on my staging site. The only problem observed was a loss of all Events in “The Events Calendar”, but this could well have been due to other maintenance tasks at the time.
I have to agree with the OP and the Title of this post. I dislike the growing tendency for plug-ins to try and persuade me to do things! Once I’ve made my mind up, further ‘nagging’ is more likely to see me delete the offending plug-in.

Responding to the Title?
No! Far too many bugs and niggly changes to allow me to push version 4.x to ‘live’.
AIOSEO used to be a steady and reliable well maintained plug-in and one of a very small number I allowed to be tested to use the new WP auto-update feature. Fortunately it was only testing on the staging site! Struggled for a day or so and reverted to a back-up and v3.7.1. At the current rate of change, it will possibly be a v5.x consolidation before I retry with my limited resources.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Limit to BCC’s in Additional Headers??What kraeMit. says is sound advice, but could I also recommend that you set up MailChimp in the outgoing SPF record in your outgoing Mail provider.
MailChimp has good clear instructions on doing this.I only have three sites, but very glad to have not enabled ‘auto update’ yet! This single plugin update has convinced me that I will probably never activate that feature on any ‘live’ site!
Looking at the scope and magnitude of the BUGS in this version lead to a suggestion that version 4.x should be withdrawn pending a significant review of the coding and testing regime being implemented by the new owners and that normal bug fixing should continue with 3.7.1 until v4.x achieves a much greater level of stability.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Count formsHi @javisan have you looked at special-mail-tags?
I’ve used these tags in some of my forms but not for this purpose. Adding the [_url] tag to the message should allow you to differentiate the sbmitted forms in Flamingo.

In reply to: PDF Thumbnails no longer being generatedThis problem is still there WP 5.5.1 and Classic editor. No image files in /uploads folder.
Used to work fine for posting pdf Newsletters to the site.Tedious doing an external work-around to create an image.
Is it on the “ToDo” list?
I believe it was published today! But I’d guess that most ISP’s will not have it loaded yet? Mine doesn’t.
Many thanks Rolf.
That fixed it!
As an ex system developer I’m now embarrassed at making such a silly error.Maurice
Oops! Forgot to add the screenshots.
Odd? Will not allow me to attach files to reply? Thanks Rolf. The plugin in use is here in the WP Support forum and I’m using the latest release of Otimize D; and popup maker with Wp 5.4.1 and Twenty Seventeen Theme.
I’ve attached screenshots of your ‘settings’ page and the Main admin page.
Some confusion: The settings page shows two entries with ‘pop up’ but nothing in the list on the main page.
I hope this helps clarify the details.Maurice

Thanks for the response Maria.
My apologies, I confused the issue with a typo in my initial question! In the last sentence ‘theme’ should have been ‘them’ referring to the 20+ revisions held for many of my pop-ups. I only want to retain the last 3 as a general rule, so how do I delete the older versionsIsn’t this feature just going to add non SEO ‘clutter’ to the product?

In reply to: [Flamingo] Flamingo ‘Channel’ columnThanks for the speedy reply. I should have realised from viewing the Channel list in Flamingo that this bit of the problem had been fixed. Mea culpa!
This still leaves a problem in that CF7 does not remove the Channel name when a Form template is deleted. So in my case I see a list of 15 possible Channels 9 of them now have a post count of zero and the associated form templates in CF7 have been deleted after archiving / deleting linked posts.
Should there be an option in either CF7 or Flamingo to remove the Custom Taxonomy name from WP if the form template no longer exists AND the associated post count is zero? It would certainly tidy up the Flamingo Filter / export process and make it easier to use.
Thanks
