It seems that this is a specific problem with v3.1.9.

I’ve upgraded to this version today and the whole website went down.

However, after disabling every plugin (so I could log in to admin dashboard again) and downgrading restrict-content to v3.1.8 (from the plugin page), everything started working as expected again.

@tareq1988 , I’ve also gotten the translation files.
Should you want to add them to your plugin’s languages directory, here are they:

• MO file: Drive link.
• PO file: Drive link.

Could you add me as a translator, please?

Olá, fiz como o instruído (várias vezes, inclusive), mas infelizmente n?o funcionou.
Tem alguma coisa a ver com o fato de que o WC tenha sido atualizado?
Além do mais, estou usando uma vers?o do WP superior à 4.8.5 (a última que diz que o plugin foi testado).

Estou com o mesmo problema. Seguem os detalhes de minha instala??o:

Well, that’s the problem.
It works if only I insert it through Appearance -> Menu, so I can’t create the languages as subitems.
The other problem is when I activate it trough the option “Flags” in the plugin options, the flags are added in every menu (as it should be if all of them are selected), but the menu list is not being dynamically updated and the plugin inserts flags in every menu, even if it’s not selected.
Finally, the last problem is also related to the second one. Once I enable flags in every menu it is not been showed in the main menu only.

I have a similar problem, but it is just happening when I use quick edit mode.
Mine is that the posts created in the secondary langage are been saved as draft and isn’t been linked to the other language version.

You can download previous verions of Ceceppa HERE (OFFICIAL LINK).
After that, you have to unpack the zip file and upload to your host through FTP.
I’m not sure if it can chash some tables in your database. However, it is the best alternative you have for now.
PS.: Try to check is is not an interference with another plugin that is causing these problems, once I was using another plugin that used some values equals to CML, so they crashed and my backend was ruined.
I recommend you to do this downgrade and if it doesn’t work you should try to disable other plugins (beginning with the “unnecessary ones”).

Daí é só dar um F5 no painel administrativo.

Yes, I know that. However, I’ve had some media files with as English, but only the Portuguese ones were shown instead. That’s the real problem: Polylang is only filtering the main language and hiding everything else (for media).
It used to work before, but I don’t know what just happened. This issue began after I finished a post and when I started another one it was already bugged.
About it I’ve even answered another question of a German user.

You won’t get this result since this filter allows you to filter the content by language (posts, pages, media, categories, tags, comments, string translations). It doesn’t filter the language administration.

Yes, this issue only happens with english (just portuguese media files are shown). If I enable portuguese it works perfectly.

Do you mean that for example the English is still visible in the language column (pages, post, media ..) when the filter is on “English”?

No, I mean the administration interface, like the admin bar components and menus (eg.: To add a page I’d follow “NEW”->”PAGE”, but if it is in english the options remain in the main language like “NOVO”->”PáGINA”).
About the filters the problem just happens with the media library, showing only portuguese media.

If yes, which are the “Language code” in your language settings for the English and the Portugese?

It has worked, I’m sorry. (name: restrict-content-pt_BR.mo)
I’m going to share the files, but they are not working completly. Mainly int the parts under the post/page creation/editing; the options like “User Level” and it’s respective option in the combo box, “Choose the user level that can see this page / post”, “Hide from Feed?”, “Hide the excerpt of this post / page from the Feed?”.

I actually don’t know exactly what happened, but I believe it has some problems when filtering by languages, once it doesn’t change the admin interface when switching between languages.
I”m sorry I can’t provide you a screenshot because I’ve had to unninstall the plugin (I’m planning to release the site today).
About the filter is just when you change the languages, like if it is portuguese, the only posts that are shown are marked as portuguese.
