When I look at line 160 in all-in-one-event-calendar.php I see

unset( $plugins->active[ array_search( $basename, $plugins->active ) ] );

Is that the correct line? It looks like it varies from version to version.

Thank you. That was exactly the answer I needed. I simply deactivated my W3-Total-Cache plugin and suddenly my plugins.php page was blank. Couldn’t see my plugins list. I tried renaming the W3-total-cache folder and other files, but no help. Then I renamed the All-in-One-Events folder and the plugins page worked fine. Finally I renamed both All-in-One and W3-Total-Cache back to the original names and everything worked.
I love the All-in-One Events plugin but it is buggy. For example, I use the WP-migrate plugin to backup my database to my local machine because it handles the renaming of the links in the database. But I have to deactivate All-in-One first or the migration will fail. Pity.

I think I found the source of the confusion. It appears that when I created my first test document for the group, I think I had simply associated an existing document with the group and I didn’t see all the “Access” setting at the bottom of the page. I ended up with the defaults. Even when I had selected a private group, the defaults were:

This Doc can be read by: Anyone
This Doc can be edited by: Logged-in Users
Comments are visible to: Anyone
Comments can be posted by: Anyone
History can be viewed by: Anyone

Is there somewhere to set the defaults?
When I created a document using the BP Docs editor I was able to set the access privileges properly. However, I noted that if I am not a member of the associated group, when I try to go to the URL for the document I am redirected to the home page of the site. Is there a way to have it redirect to the login page the way it does when a non-member attempts to go to a group page?

I just ran into the same problem. Admin created new doc and associated it with private group, then logged-in as a member, edited the document and it went from ‘limited’ access to ‘public’.

‘Register’ page contains [theme-my-login]. Public and private keys installed. reCAPTCHA NOT displayed on either login widget or register page.

Confirming the problem. Seems to be well known and unresloved. If I deactivate A-1-ec, then do the migration and reactivate A-1-ec everything appears to be normal, including the A-1-ec database tables. Since you have to go to the dashboard to do the migration, it’s just a few extra steps.

@nikeo Thanks for the quick response. The error didn’t seem to affect the use of the theme. I love the Feature pages under the slider, but I would love to have an additional area above the footer for widgets or even posts. Is that possible?

@electricfeet I was running with a ‘localhost’ WAMP server, but the system was attached to the internet and the readme.txt file does exist in the customizr folder. I did find the extra ‘/’ that nikeo mentioned. I might try removing it before installing customizr in another folder and see if that fixes it.

As it turned out it wasn’t a theme problem at all but a WordPress quirk. Thank you for a great theme. Just used it to convert an old ZenCart site to WordPress (https://healingspiritvet.com). I intend to highlight this theme for the web design group I lead for the Silicon Valley Computer Society (https://svcs.net) and in the WordPress classes I teach at a local community college.

Problem found. Drove me nuts!
I entered the wrapper BG imaage via the CSS on the Main Options page of Weaver II.
But I hadn’t entered a fully qualified URL to the image, only the ‘wp-options/uploads/2013/02/image.jpg’. As soon as I added the full domain name ‘https://localhost/wordpress/’ to the URL all the pages displayed the wrapper image correctly. Apparently the system was trying to find the image relative to the CURRENT page rather than the base domain.
No wonder I’m losing my hair so rapidly!

I don’t use JetPack but I do have WP-optimize. So I ran a DB optimize and I also updated the All-in-One Calendar plugin which normally occupies the top position in the sidebar widgets. That seems to have cleared the problem in IE. Most likely was the DB optimize that did the trick because when I ran the site under WAMP (localhost), IE9 did NOT show the problem.

I’m using 1.8.3 premium and had the same problem with the descriptions. The fix suggested by shrmn fixed it perfectly. Now hopefully the daylight savings time problem will go away on November 4th.

I had assumed that the ‘Premium’ version was a paid version. Very happy to hear it is available free. And it solved my problem.

Just found this thread on the problem and realized this is (was) a well known problem, so I moved my post here. Plug-in site says v1.8.3 (Premium) solves the problem, but the latest WordPress version is 1.8.2. Does it have the Google maps fix???

I have a similar problem. The small map shows on the edit event admin page but does not show on the event detail page. The click link is there in a blank window. If I click the link, the full size map appears in a separate page. The ‘hide Google map’ box is NOT checked and the “show Google map” box is checked on the edit page.
Any thoughts???
